Just check some of these links out. You are right I don't know your area, but I am almost positive I could find position available with employer provided benefits.
I appreciate the info. I just know that my husband works with a bank, and when he was hired before ACA he worked 30-35 hours and since ACA was enacted they cut him to 20-25. But I'm not ignorant to information, so I'll check out those links. We all develop opinions based on our personal experiences.. mine with ACA and my husband's job just happened to be a bad one.
This is kind of going off on a tangent, but did he have insurance before they his hours were cut? Meaning when the mandate was introduced they kept his hours below 30 so they don't have to provide insurance? That sounds like they were shitty from the beginning, but it really has nothing to do with ACA. They didn't provide before and apparently dont after.

I can definitely see where youre coming from with that. They didn't provide it before, and they aren't providing it now. =/ hopefully we'll have some luck soon with finding a full time job somewhere
For some reason, (ACA) most companies are switching to hiring more part time employees than full time.. it incredibly difficult to find a full time position in our area
Not true. That is just a republican talking point that is false. I work part time and I have insurance through my employer. Your husbands company just sucks and doesn't want to provide for it's employees.
I also work part time and have full insurance coverage. It's out there. It's just decent companies that care about workers vs companies that care more about profit and padding the execs' wallets. There are good companies out there that will provide great benefits. Just got to get creative to find them. Good luck to all seeking coverage
