Anxious Mess!!! (UPDATE Loss Mentioned)

Hey, Ladies! I'm trying to get some input and hopefully calm my fears. I started lightly spotting at 6w2d and it has gotten worse over the last 3 days. Sometimes brown sometimes red, and it comes and goes. I saw my doctor yesterday (6w4d) and she said I was too early to see anything more than the gestational sac and yolk sac. She did confirm that it is not ectopic. I had blood drawn to check HCG levels but they did not call me with results today. I will go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound if my HCG is at the right level. I'm trying hard to stay positive but it is so hard because I'm scared of the unknown. Has anyone else had this type of spotting/bleeding without ending in a miscarriage?

After getting my HCG results back the Dr said they were lower than she wanted but we did a second test to see if they were rising or falling. The nurse called me yesterday morning and told me that they were falling. :( It has been over a week and I am still bleeding. She said the worst part should be over and now we just have to monitor my levels back to 0.

Anyone have a link for trying to conceive after miscarriage?

Good luck to the other ladies in the group!

  • I have no experience with this, but I'm sorry you're going through it. I know it is absolutely possible to spot and still have a healthy baby, so I will hope that for you!

  • Lay down, rest, drink lots of water and try to think of something else to get you through the weekend. If this is indeed a miscarriage you will know if the bleeding becomes heavy. If it doesn't get heavy I think you will be in the clear! Call your Dr's office first thing on Monday... But take it easy and rest in the interim.. You are in my thoughts!!
  • I'm experiencing the same thing-- almost.

This morning I noticed a very small spot, very light. And then later on a new panty liner I saw the same colored pink spot.

Ive had very little to no cramping but yesterday- I ran and I had a pretty strong cramp then it went away.

    I'm worried.

    Praying for us and baby.
  • Thank you, ladies! I am trying to stay calm but the bleeding worries me. The doctor will open again on Tuesday so this will be a loooooong weekend!

@Mbusch1818‌ I hope yours gets better! I've been stressing like crazy for 3 days!
  • I had some light spotting last week and have been a wreck ever since. I will say that "lurking" on the PGaL posts sometimes helps when I'm extra anxious, but this thread really helped me too:
You're pregnant today, and you love your baby.
FX that all is well at your next appointment. ((Hugs)) I hope this helps.

  • I started spotting at 6w4d and still do from time to time at 8w2d. I had an ultrasound and doc said everything looked fine and I did have a cyst on my ovary

  • My friend was closer to 8 weeks when she started spotting. And now she almost four months and everything looks good! Don't stress too much, some women actually bleed like a period and continue on to carry a healthy baby!
