I sincerely apologize if someone else has already posted this but I didn't see it in the first few pages of threads.
Anyway, has anyone else had a positive antibody pregnancy? I honestly don't even really know how to explain it besides I'm Rh- and my nurse called this morning saying my bloodwork showed D antigens. I made the mistake of Googling this and now I'm completely freaking out.
I have 2 healthy children and have received 5 Rhogam shots in the past. Guess I just assumed that those shots prevented all of this??? Apparently if they find the antigens in my blood when I go in on Thursday, I won't even be able to get the shots this time. This was already going to be my last pregnancy but now I'm completely panicking.
Update: I had my NT scan and appointment yesterday afternoon. Nobody is really sure why I tested positive again, although the doctor said it was so weak that he couldn't even give me a titer number. So, I have to have my titer checked every month and if the number doesn't change, they'll do nothing. Usually the Rhogam shot lasts for about 14 weeks and the last one I had was 16 MONTHS ago. So bizarre. No news is good news, I suppose?
