You all know what this last year has been for us, what it means to have made it to this day. I'm not going to dwell on that; today is difficult enough for me as it is and I'm trying very hard today to look at where we're headed instead of where we've been.
Instead I want to take this as an opportunity to thank you, J13. I'm really not sure how I would've made it through without this board. You have provided community for me through the most intensely isolating year of my life; at times you've been my only outlet for anger and fear and frustration; you have given me sunshine when I needed it most, and confidence when it was hard to come by; through everything, you have been an incredible source of support and encouragement and love. Thank you, a million times over.
