please don't roll your eyes too hard at my question! it's legitimately bugging me.
tessa sleeps like a champ all night long, and she generally takes either 3 or 4 naps during the day if we keep a good eat-awake-sleep pattern going. because of this, she often only gets 6 feedings in a 24 hour period of time. she's gaining weight just fine (at least half a pound a week) so i'm not concerned about her not getting enough calories during the day... i just feel badly she doesn't eat all that many times, and it's making me paranoid that my supply is going to drop with these infrequent feedings. there are many days when she'll only have 2 feedings before noon.
how do you guys with great sleepers/nappers deal with the feeding portion of the day? do you ever wake the baby to feed purely for the purpose of inserting more nursing/bottle sessions in the day?
Re: those who have awesome sleepers - a feeding schedule Q
It's more likely you'll ovulate and start your period with less frequent nursing. Just something to keep in mind unless you want Irish twins!
