  I think you're right, which means I might need to buy a new one.  I had one at a hotel last week that had zero heat, but it still dried my hair really well.

  The heat is damaging. I swear by this dryer... it will blow your damn head off. It has lasted longer than any hair dryer I've ever had.

  I love it.  My hair is super thick and can take forever to dry.  This one dries it really fast and leaves it pretty smooth.  My stylist recommended it a few years back and I'm happy with it.

  I actually got this one for $25 at Marshall's but, knowing how good it is, I think it would be worth the investment at the higher price.
