At the hospital. I was still at 1.5 cm so they gave me cervotech (sp?) at 7:30 am. The tiny pill that goes in the cervix. My contractions have picked up and are 2-3 mins apart currently. They will check my cervix at noon and we will decide what to do from there.
Update: the Cytotec increased contractions to 2-3 mins apart but did nothing for my cervix. Was on a low dose of pitocin for the past hour and the contractions are stronger (still painless) and feeling a lot of pressure from the baby's head. They just uped my dosage for pitocin and contractions are still painless but coming every minute. They plan to check my cervix in the next hour or so. Hope there is some type of change!
UPDATE 2: 5/23 6 am. So after upping my dosage every hour yesterday, they checked my cervix at 7 pm and no change (I was so upset by this). They placed a foley bulb into the cervix last night. It hasn't fallen out just yet

. My doctor will be making her rounds in the next hour or two and will most likely start upping the pitocin at that time to get me to more of an active labor. I really hope my cervix decides to get with it and dilate soon. But we're prepared to go another day to avoid the c-section if possible.

Abigail Lily was born on the 24th just after midnight. Weighing 7 lbs 8.9 oz and 20.5 in long.
They took out the foley bulb and started the pitocin again but by midnight I was still at 3 cm. they determined her head was down but tilted and no matter how or what position I laid in, it didn't help. The contractions did get REALY intense so I received the epidural a couple hours before it was determined her head was not moving. So after 40+ hours of induced labor (and no sleep) we headed in to the OR for a csection. Everything went great and I even took a shower and walked around the nurses desk today. And for your viewing pleasure ... Picture of Abigail Lily. This was when she was released from the nursery after they examined her directly after the surgery. We were taking a break from breast feeding ... Both very tired! This is all I have so far as my DH was in charge of the camera.
