weight gain fears...

So in September 2012 I had gastric bypassmaintaibut 90 lbs by January 2013, when I found out I was expecting! So I lost another 30 lbs through my pregnancy and after I gave birth in October I lost another 30 lbs. So I'm down 150lbs and looking and feeling great and my husband leaves me. I start dating a new guy and bam I'm pregnant again. Now I'm afraid I'm going to get fat and he won't like me anymore ugh it's so complicated and stupid but basically those of you who have gained minimal weight during pregnancy, what kinds of things did you eat to keep baby nourished and healthy but maintain a healthy weight gain?

  • I would consult your dr/nutritionist for a healthy meal plan. Gaining weight during pregnancy is a normal thing. I'm sorry your husband left you, but history doesn't always repeat itself. If you have a good/supporting partner then they will want you and the baby to be healthy...if that means you gain weight that's okay.

  • I had to limit my carb intake with #1 because of GD, i only gained 18 pounds.  I ate a lot or food, it was just healthy food.
