This is what happened to me in my first pregnancy. It was around the time of my period, but I only got light brown discharge. I took a pregnancy test after the date of my missed period and it was positive; however, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage, blighted ovum to be exact around 6-7 weeks.
With my son, we were under the care of a fertility specialist. We were just in the beginning phases so no actual treatment or medication, just testing and we got pregnant. I had some light discharge, but nothing unusual and I tested the day of my missed period and it came back positive.
Now, with this pregnancy, I was on here asking the same question, "Could I be pregnant" and I got a lot of snarky feedback as well. I felt 'off' but I kept getting negative pregnancy tests. I told my husband at one point, "I don't care what that stick says, I know I'm pregnant". Sure enough, after 2-3 weeks of peeing on sticks, the positive result showed itself.
I am now nearing the end of the first trimester. Good Luck, if you are hoping for a baby, I hope it works out in your favor. If not, go again:)
You wouldnt have the urge to eat more that soon. And also when you think ypur pregnant your mind can trick your body into acting like it, if ya know what i mean. Go to the docter and get a blood test or wait a few days and test again.
sheesh rude much? I am seriously annoyed by some of the posts in this thread. If you see soooo many of these posts all the time, then you are on here WAY TOO MUCH. If its starting to annoy you, then find another activity.
Have some sympathy -- you have ALL been there wishing and hoping for a positive pregnacy test, and you know how upsetting it can all be if its negative, so I think you should be a bit nicer to the OP.
Some straight forward advice would have been nicer. No sarcasm needed.
I agree. I am really saddened by the "mean girl" posts. I have found myself wondering how miserable these people's lives must be that they get off on talking down to other posters.
To the original poster, I think you are probably not pregnant, but I have known several people who did not get a positive pregnancy test until several weeks after their missed period. I don't think that is common though, so its probably more likely that you are not pregnant.

Broad, generalized insults tend to...gasp...insult everyone! So you aren't going over well with anybody.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
If you're trying to insult people, you could at least pay attention and insult them on a CURRENT thread. This just makes you look silly. 2012 doesn't care if you think they were mean.
