I don't particularly like made up or misspelled names. A perfectly acceptable name can be ruined for me if it's misspelled. Trends sometimes become annoying as well.

And darn it to those that don't like Alyssa. It's my daughter's name

My cousin is naming her little girl Riley and I just can't get past it. It's none I my business though, so I haven't said anything.
Also... Jaxon. Jackson is fine, I just can't stand when someone's trying to make a real name trendy by spelling it wrong.

I love Jack as a stand alone. I can't for the life of me understand Jack as a nickname for John. If you want to call your son (John) Jack, just name him Jack!

I have an odd dislike for the name Schroeder
A FB friend recently gave this name to their daughter. I really dislike it. Don't know what it is, just looks clunky and ugly to me.

Basically most of the boy names that are also a noun for something else...

I strongly dislike misspelled names of any variation, but I particularly despise girls names with lots of unnecessary vowels in them and boys names with a Y in the place of an I.
