Update: Trying to stay calm BFP warning 2nd betas are in!

Thank you so, so much everyone for all the congrats and good thoughts. I got my 2nd betas this morning, and they more than doubled to 208.9! I am so relieved. Still really nervous about what's to come, but this is one positive step, and I'm really happy.

And thanks for all the support over the past few months on this TTC roller coaster. Hope we'll all meet up on the Pregnant After 35 group very soon, though I still need to schedule my first ultrasound, so will hang out here for a bit if you all don't mind.

So, I feel a little bad popping up like this since I've been MIA the past month, but I hope you ladies will understand. I made a little plan for myself about how I was going to stop obsessing and just be happy with my life, and taking a break from message boards was part of that. I just needed to control the crazy.

I'm sort of floating in a daze this morning, as I just got my first ever BFP, at, I think, 13 DPO. I had a delayed O this cycle, and was not all that hopeful, though our timing was good. I usually do not test early, but I did first POAS on Sat (DPO 9) as I was having a party and thought a drink might be nice, and, well, "drink til it's pink" right? I thought maybe I saw the faintest line, but decided I was seeing things and figured well, it's early so I'm not going to get too worked up over a BFN. Then, the last two nights I've had a lot of abdominal and back cramps. Usually when I have cramps AF shows up within an hour or two, but nothing, and apparently cramps are pretty common in very early pregnancy. So this morning I decided what the hell, I'll try another test, and voila! a very unmistakable, very pink line! I had thought if this ever happened I might try to come up with some clever way to tell DH, but I just grabbed that pee stick and jumped on the bed yelling "I'm pregnant!!!" So much for controlling the crazy.

I went in to the RE for blood work this morning, and just saw my hcg beta results: 93.2. That sounds like a definite positive, though I don't know what else it means (I just got the results online - haven't heard from the office yet.) I'm extremely nervous, but really happy!

@Tsuga76‌ I am new here so if you have been absent for a bit you don't know me, but congratulations! I would say 93 is a good starting number at 13 DPO.
