**MINI UPDATE**

Well, at least the bleeding has stopped. There's a little residual that's still there, but it's not bright red anymore. DH says I should just "have faith" and wait until my OB appointment on Thursday and not bother with a U/S today. I'm still worried though so I think I'm going to call my RE here in a little and see if he would willingly do a U/S since the bleeding has stopped.

Do you ladies think I'm being crazy for really wanting to have a U/S? I feel like if I just got to see the little heartbeat again I'd feel a million times better. DH says I'm just being a pessimist/hypochondriac.

No I don't think you are crazy at all. I would definitely be trying to get an U/S today instead of waiting until Thursday. I would not want to put myself through 2 days of worry! I hope you are able to be seen today (if you choose that route) and everything is as it should be with a nice strong heartbeat!

i'm with @YaMrWhite, i'd be calling in for the ultrasound. two days can be an eternity when you're worried.

You need to call your RE and let them know what is going on. If they are anything like my Dr's office, they will ask you to come in immediatly for an exam. These doctors are used to dealing with things like this and know what anxiety can do to a patient. For your own peace of mind, call the RE.

I just saw this today... Glad the bleeding's stopped but I would definitely want an ultrasound now and not in two days. Hope everything turns out OK!

Hope all is OK. I would be freaking out, too. I think you're right to want an U/S, I would need one to calm my nerves, too.

I agree. Stressing out won't do anyone any good. I know I wouldn't be able to wait two days. I'd call and see what they say. I can't imagine they wouldn't want to see you, but if they say you can wait, then decide if you want to stick it out.

I would definitely call and go in for the ultrasound if you can, if for nothing else than to calm your worries. Besides, these doctors are totally used to dealing with far more overreactive mommies-to-be! Many T&Ps for you!!!!

I was a bit peeved by his comment too,@SassyMommaC .

I spoke with the RE this morning and he said that he doesn't think there's anything to worry about but I sound concerned so go ahead and come in for a U/S. They are seriously the best over there because they only have an opening at 3:30 but I can't go that late because of work so they're going to squeeze me in at 1. I will give a big update as soon as I get back from that appt...or maybe as I'm walking back to the car when it's over.

Thinking about you and hope everything goes well! I know it wasn't bright red blood, but I spotted every day for the last week...every time I would go to the bathroom, I would see something. The nerves definitely can get the best of us. Prayers that everything goes ok...today, Thursday...for the next 7-8 months!!

Well, I waited for 35 min and the Dr. never showed up. His nurses apologized and said they had no idea why he wasn't back.

I had to get back to work so I left. I'm a little peeved but I guess I just wasn't meant to be reassured today...now I have to get the new Midwife office on the phone (sat on hold with them for about 6 minutes and hung up) and figure out if they planned on doing a U/S on Thursday...

I would like to yank my hair out now...

oh no!!! I'm sorry your Dr. didn't show up....that's crazy that he would schedule that and then not show up....I'm sure all is well, but I would call the midwife too just to see if they're going to do the u/s then! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
