@MJamison1020 I didn't mean for it to come off as a hierarchy thing, I'm sorry I realize now that it did. I just meant that I wouldn't want this thread and a misunderstanding to make @SunflowersBride feel like she shouldn't post here anymore and I think a comment like "I thought you were done..." has the power to make someone feel that way.
My biggest issue with this entire thing is the complete and total lack of support. The intention of these board are to support one another, not make each other feel like shit. And this happens in a lot more posts than just this one by a lot of people. I understand this isn't a place to be all hugs and kisses and unicorns and "everything you do is perfect" but it shouldn't be a place of being a bitch to each other either.
And on that note, I apologize for my bratty comment, @SunflowersBride because it made me no better than you. This whole exchange has been very off putting but that's not an excuse to be a bitch.
This is turning into a perfect example of how saying something and having it taken the wrong way can lead to a ridiculous amount of word vomit (example: OP's interaction with the lady at the park and the train wreck this post has become).

Yes this! I was trying to step away because the thread had gone to hell and there was nothing good that was going to come from keeping it alive, not because I was going to take my ball and go home.

I'm sorry if you felt that way, @SunflowersBride - I only said that because you had stomped off the thread earlier. I don't want anyone to feel like they shouldn't post because quite honestly, that's the reason I left J14 while I was pregnant. It can seem sometimes that unless you're one of the cool kids that has been here since the beginning, you don't belong and you're participation is unwanted. I understand this isn't always the case but it can really feel that way.
@MJamison1020 If only people who had been here the whole time could post, this place would be filled with even more tumbleweeds than it already is. I certainly (again) didn't meant to make you feel that way.
Is it too soon to joke that this thread felt like the olden days of J14? It's too soon, isn't it?
