Re: ~*~PgAL Check-In~*~
4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? When I have time I do. I am still trying to finish the final Hunger Games. I have until November so I am sure I will finish it by then.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? I love to read. Not sure what my last read was - I think it was some cheesy young adult book - but I'm reading Insurgent right now. Unfortunately I normally read before I go to sleep at night and I keep falling asleep too quickly and only get a page or two read.
2) How is PgAL brain treating you? HORRIBLE- I had really bad lower back pain the week prior to my loss and the same pain started this morning. My symptoms are gone- no sore boobs, no morning sickness etc ....also like last time.
3) Any important appointments/updates this week? I have a viability scan tomorrow but I don't know how I will suffer with this pain without going to the hospital today.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? I have been such a slacker with reading....I'm actually looking forward to other answers because maybe I'll find something to read.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? I love to read! I'm currently reading This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper. So far it's pretty good.

2) How is PgAL brain treating you?
Ok.... My only symptoms are frequently peeing and fatigue.... That's two more symptoms than last time but I'd like it if I had full blown symptoms to ease my mind
3) Any important appointments/updates this week?
I have to wait Til June 10!!! I'm gonna go crazzzzzzy
4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? Currently cuckoos calling

4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? i do. i'm currently reading that collection of short stories by diana gabaldon (a trail of fire) to tide me over until written in my own hearts blood is released next month.
ETA: more books! the last book i finished was the historian by...the name escapes me now. classic vampire book, none of that sparkly stuff. i'm also trying to get through the out of sync child because DS has been dianosed with sensory processing disorder. i'm really really bad with nonfiction though.

@JerseyHopeful, i'm sorry you're in so much pain. hopefully it's just crampy stuff from your ute stretching, but if it's really severe maybe you should call your doc.
@MoreThanSparrows08, i've been taking stuff easy too. i don't have an exercise routine, just housework, yardwork, and walking, and i've been trying to not be up and down stairs every 2 minutes carrying laundry baskets and such. walking is still walking though, lol.
@danakatiepfoltzer, symptoms are such a crapshoot, lol. i have different symptoms than with my loss...not really more or less. although at this point i think my symptoms were starting to fade some, and they're still going strong now.

@CrazyMonkeyBear good luck with your scan. At least now your boss knows it's less stress trying to make excuses for time off.
@longcat07 your new dr sounds great. I love that they are sympathetic to PGAL mamas. Good luck tomorrow.

2) How is PgAL brain treating you? Each day it gets a little better. I had one FRER left and I took it yesterday (I know, I know) and the test line was overtaking dye from the control, so that made me happy to see that my levels are continuing to rise.
3) Any important appointments/updates this week? No. My first appt isn't until June 20th at 9w2d.
QUESTION: When I miscarried back in March my doc said to call when I got another positive and she would schedule a viability u/s around 6 weeks. I had that bleeding scare a week ago so we never made it to asking about that since we were focused on my betas. My doc emailed me and said since my betas last week were doubling that everything looked good and she would see me at my first appt. No mention of a viability u/s. My husband thinks we should just wait. What would you do? Should I call back and ask for one? Or just let it go and be happy with my betas? (My loss history if it matters: a chemical pregnancy in Jan at 4.5 weeks and a miscarriage in March at 6.5 weeks. But my betas were low and slow rising that time so we were expecting it.)
4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? I love to read! I read every single day pre-kid. Now I can't remember the last book I've finished! I still read but it's more hit and miss since I don't have a lot of extra time.
as for the viability scan...i don't know that i'd ask for one outright, but i'd call and "remind" her that she'd wanted one, and find out if she still wants one or if the betas were good enough for her. unless, of course, you're really nervous and want one, then go ahead and ask for on.

4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? I do like to read, but haven't had the time in a while. I was last reading New Moon from the Twilight series.
@YaMrWhite - Thanks for the check-in!
@peggels24 - I hope the next couple weeks flies by until your appointment!
@JerseyHopeful - I would get in wherever you can at this point. Good luck and update when you can!
@Morethansparrows08 - I'm glad that you are going in to your old doc and then switching.
@danakatiepfoltzer - You wish for MS until you have it. I hope that you are feeling more comfortable soon.
@CrazyMonkeyBear - I hope that your appointment gets here soon so you can relax a bit.
@jj32 - According to your LMP you would be due 1/22, so today you'd be 4w5d.
@longcat07 - I'm glad that the doc got you in earlier. Good luck!
@taberbtb - Good luck at your appointment!
@LuckyPenny1231 - I would call and ask, but I'm neurotic like that. Do whatever is going to make you feel the most comfortable!
@fightersince83 - Good luck with your beta test!

4) QOTW (Question of the week): Do you like to read? If so, what are you currently reading or what was the last book you just finished? Yes, this is my favorite hobby. I just started Sycamore Row by John Grisham. I haven't read a John Grisham book since probably the 90's.
@luckypenny1231 That’s a tough question – I don’t know if I would or would not do the viability scan. On one hand, what if it’s too early and it just adds stress when you are so comfortable with your betas? On the other hand, what if it helps relieve the stress. Argh – good luck with whatever you decide to do! [Oh and I totally have a FRER left that I plan on using]
@fightersince83 Fx for good news this afternoon!!!!!
@rmpar29 I’m super worried about the genetic testing too – I keep trying to push it out of my mind knowing that I have quite a few weeks to go before the test is done. ((hugs))
@pips09 I really enjoyed Sycamore Row – and like you, I haven’t read a Grisham novel in years – probably since like his 4th or 5th book – he just released too many too quickly and I gave up around then.

FF gave me my EDD. If you have the VIP version it will tell you. I am 3w4d by O date, otherwise I would have been 4w1d by LMP. If you *know* your O date I would use that.
