LB reporting for duty!! (@CAMag)- UPDATE IN OP! Babies are here!

Just heard from my LB @CAMag that her boys are definitely coming tonight!

She was being monitored off and on for the past several days due to contractions and dilating (but actual consistent labor had not started yet). This morning, membranes were stripped at 10 a.m., water was broken, epidural was given, pitocin was administered, and things are well on their way! She is feeling good and even able to rest, and soon her sweet boys will be in her arms! Send good thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated twin delivery; twins can pull little game changing stunts at the last minute ;-).

UPDATE! Just heard from @CAMag. Both boys were born shortly after 7 p.m. PST last night. Everyone is healthy! Baby A was 6lbs 5 oz and baby B was 5lbs 5 oz. A spent a couple hours in the NICU, but was released back to mommy and daddy before 10 a.m.

CAMag is a WARRIOR! She had an incredibly intense labor and got to have the terrifying and very rare experience of birthing baby A vaginally and baby B via emergency C-section. She was in a LOT of pain after (and now has to have a double recovery), but is healthy overall. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers; this is what we twin mamas call a "double whammy," and it is very scary and dreaded for obvious reasons. She has an incredible and brave outlook on this intense delivery, and the most important thing is everyone is healthy! But recovery surely will not be a walk in the park after such an experience! Looking forward to updates and photos when she has a chance :-).
