    I am not drinking bc I'm pregnant, but I wish I was.

    I am sitting next to the laundry I'm not folding, eating cookies, and not doing any of the 9 million chores I'm supposed to be doing.

    There is beer in my fridge that is calling my name...have to wait until I make dinner though so I don't look like an alcoholic (heaven forbid).  I'll just stuff my face with peanut butter pancakes in the meantime.  So much for working out.

    Is this the drinking thread? I'm thinking about taking my kid on a walk to the liquor store and hopefully he'll fall asleep because I cannot nurse him any more today.

    Is there ever a time that weaning is easy? We transitioned from co sleeping to crib at 8 months with pretty much no tears. I sucked it up until I thought he was ready but I don't think he'll ever willingly give up the boob.

    OMG who was the one who rubbed one out to Kevin Durant? I think of you every time I see him now which is weird.
    I also had a FWB who looks like KD (who also played bball and is really tall).
    So basically I can't watch OKC without thinking of boning him.

    DD1 was obsessed with the boob from the day she was born. She finally gave up nursing to sleep every night around 18 months I think. It was on her own too. I did however almost take leave of my senses eleventy billion times before we made it there. If you do choose to wean get DH to stand in, it really does help.
    I can do it for a couple more months. But then I hear people talking about going past 2 and idk how they do that. Then I think about a second LO and starting all over again and what if I can't go as long for them or at all and so on... Stupid mommy guilt.

    He did only take a few minutes to fall asleep which is nice but the nights that he wakes up and wants to nurse allll night is what gets me. I already told SO if he wakes up tonight it's his turn.

    Thanks @TheEmpireNeedsYou‌ and @RVASC811‌, it's nice to know I'm not the only one. He wants it alllll the time which makes it hard to not be where we usually nurse because we nurse everywhere. We will be staying with mil for 10-14 days (t&p please) while we wait for our move in date so I'm hoping she can help distract some v

    I totally feel your pain. DD was a resistant eater and got like 90% of her calories from breastmilk until close to 2. It was horrible. They're supposed to freaking drop sessions! I also have no shame. "Milkies?" "Ohh, hey, want some ice cream?" was definitely something that happened more than once to distract her.

    We also had absolutely no luck with extra daddy time while weaning. She still wanted me to be the one to hold her. I spent a lot of time standing up and swaying back and forth with her head on my shoulder to calm her down without letting her have her face right at boob level.

    Yeah I hear you on all of that. The thing I try to remember is that nursing is a relationship like any other. If what you are doing today isn't working for both of you then don't feel guilty changing it. It can just be something small like night weaning if you aren't ready to be completely done. The good news on the next kid is that newborn nursing feels so different and new easy. Plus hopefully you'll get a much less obsessed nurser this time around!

    I think a big part of it is we're sharing a room. We're in an extended stay hotel until the beginning of the month so we're all in one room. Once we go back to separate rooms I think he'll sleep better. He used to sleep 12~ hours a night.

    For FB; To get to your "most recent," click the "more" tab on the bottom right. Scroll down and there is a category that says "most recent." Then it has all of the most recent posts like before the update
