I got this cute dress and cardigan set for her to wear in NB size. We have a backup outfit in 0-3 if she happens to be that big....but I dont' foresee it as my 8lb4oz 21in 3rd child (also the biggest) wore NB at birth.
Those are little blue elephants on the dress and the cardigan is striped with two different shades of pink.
This is ADORABLE!!!! I love it! (Where did you get it, I totally want one!)
June '14 September Siggy challenge- Favorite things about fall
Everyone's outfits are sooo cute! We only got one newborn outfit and we figure we will use that one, nothing special. My grandma is going to make a matching hat to go with it
When we found out we were expecting my DH's best friend's girlfriend embroidered this onsie for us and I fell absolutely in love with it. It is what we've been calling our LO since my DH's nick name has been papa newski for so long, this was appropriate. This picture is from our mat photo shoot, but we have a dark blue hat to go along with it as well as little socks that look like sneakers and a wrist rattle. I can't wait to put him in it, I just hope it fits since it is newborn!
Coordinating outfits for Eleanor to bring home baby Cora. She is very excited about it. There are also matching denim peep toe flats with a bow on them
For those of you who have two outfits in different sizes, are you washing them both first or waiting to take tags off once you find out how big your LO is? I have no idea how big my LO is going to be, so I haven't taken tags off of anything yet. Although I suppose it's not a big deal if I take the tags off of my $8 NB outfit from Carters and it ends up being too small for him to wear...
But this is what I'm leaning towards, in 0-3 month size
I will leave the tags on and will not wash this first outfit before she wears it. I know a lot of people are washing all their baby clothes but I guess I'm just too lazy for all that. It's not going to make her spontaneously combust if I don't wash them first, my first daughter didn't. I will leave all tags on until I am sure the clothes fit so that I can return anything that doesn't. Also, even if you are expecting a "large" baby they will probably still fit in newborn first even if not for very long. They are usually pretty skinny at birth and newborn size is designed to fit that body type. My 7 pound 11 ounce daughter was even able to wear a couple premie hand me downs I had for her in the first week.
