I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that our boys have arrived! I was scheduled for a c-section on the 19th of this month but my little baby A had plans of his own. On the 9th I called my OB because I was having this terrible itching and they wanted me to come in to get a blood test for PUPPPS and while I was there I had mentioned that I had been having some period type of cramps so the doctor checked me and I was at 1 cm and he said they were probably BH. Later that day I went to the bathroom and had some bloody discharge and basically summed it up to being checked earlier in the day. The rest of the day went on as normal and the cramps had pretty much gone away, around 10:30 we went to bed and then around 11:30 I felt a "pop" and I jumped up really fast and my water just gushed. We called our OB and headed to the hospital, we arrived and got checked in and then it felt like things got a little crazy. The doctor check to make sure my water had broke and then found that I was 4-5 cm and baby A's bottom was trying to head out. We were rushed into the OR and at 2:18 and 2:19 our little boys made their arrival. Baby A-Parker weighed 4 lbs 11 oz and Baby B-Mason weighed 5 lbs 14 oz. Parker checked out fine but Mason had some breathing issues and was grunting. Parker is now home with us, but Mason remains in the NICU because the hospital has a 7 day policy for apnea and oxygen issues. We are hoping he will be home with us tomorrow. We are so in love with them both
