  haha. Yeah, I haven't had cable or satellite for about 2.5 years of which 9 months I didn't even have a TV at all (which I loved BTW!).  The show is about people pitching their company to investors hoping to get money to expand their business.

  I got hit by a kid yesterday at work while breaking up a fight. The kid intentionally tried to hit me, to which he succeeded several times and tried to pick me up and slam me on the ground. My confession is that I am going to do everything in my power to make sure this kid gets expelled. And I'm glad that the other kid he was fighting with beat his ass.
  
  FYI... He's not a child with special needs and he is in the third grade.

  Omg he hit you. I must say when I read your posts I always picture scenes out of Lean on Me. The fact that they are in the 3rd grade is crazzzzzy these kids are getting worse and worse

  That is really bad that he tried to do that. Though, I would think something is seriously wrong with him for him to do that.. either there is something lacking in the house he is living in or some type of anger issue. Yeah, some kids are just asses sometimes, just in situations where kids are really bad.. usually something else is going on.

  He's going through some things. His mom lost/ quit (not sure exactly what) her job. They got kicked out of their apartment and are currently living in a shelter. So, I get it. We've actually started the process to get him day treatment while he's at school, but that is 100% not going to change my stance. He intentionally punched SEVERAL times. Upon telling his mom this, she said that a couple of weeks ago he got mad at her and kicked her in the face. So this is regular behavior. He has aggression towards women. I just hope he doesn't switch and start to direct it towards his little sister. Counseling is a definite option, but he's not going to be in my classroom while he gets it. I cannot be in a potentially dangerous position where I am not allowed I defend myself. Just not going to happen.
