Today's challenge was to find a way to acknowledge yourself as a mother. Anyone care to share if you did/did not participated and how?

I'm so sorry that you feel you aren't a mother but I agree with what you are hearing from everyone else- you most definitely are. Hugs.

I understand how you feel. I call myself a mother, but there are times I catch myself slipping and say things like "when I have children" or "when I am a mom." We were robbed of the opportunity to raise our babies, which makes it so hard for us to connect to the title of mother. Everyday though, I think that I am a mom because if I were not, that would be calling Conner and Benjamin motherless and they certainly are not without their parents. I hope you are able to feel the same way as well.

Sorry ladies...I've been super absent here for the last week (and not as up on the Muchness challenge on Facebook as I'd like to be either...) It's been one stupid busy and emotional week (for no reason, just hit me hard this week, I guess). I shared my necklace for this chalenge. It reminds me that I have a child, even if she's not here with us. It's hard to feel like you're a mother when you're stripped of all of the typical "mothering duties".

@chickinNH‌ : You most definitely are a mother. ((Hugs))

@ikrystal‌ : I catch myself saying those things, as well. We went out to eat Sunday night and the waitress said "I'm not sure if you are a mother, but..." I'm not even sure she finished her sentence because I cut her off and said, "I am." (She gave me a rose on my way out, which made me happy & sad.)

@LyndseyTS‌ : I love your necklace.

I'm a pretty private person and am not a big poster on FB. I rarely change pics, but for this challenge I changed my cover photo. I guess it didn't show up on my feed last week, because I only started getting comments on it on Sunday when people were visiting my homepage to write on my wall.
