Sonic confession.

We don't have them up here (NY) but there are always a zillion commercials, so we talk about how delicious Sonic must be at work all the time.

Last year, I was sent down to NC for some training with 2 co-workers, and our first stop from the airport was a Sonic. None of us understood how Sonic "works" (like, we had no clue that there was no inside and that you place the order from your car and sit in the lot and eat your food there.)

We legit tried to go into the kitchen of the Sonic (the only door we could find). Everyone laughed at us (kitchen owrkers and pretty much everyone sitting out side).

It was totally embarassing but we still stayed and ordered our food.

Looking back on it, now the commercials with the two dudes always in the car makes 100% sense.

My FFFC - I am really tired because jet lag and our flight didn't get in until this morning, so I came to the lactation room to rest because I was exhausted by trying to look alert at my desk. I haven't lactated in almost 6 months. I would go home, but someone scheduled an important meeting for 4pm.

FFFC I don't tip if I use a card anywhere that the employees make minimum wage. I make up for it when I have cash on me. When I did to go orders we got tips sometimes and I management was helping out out front when we were busy they'd take the tips on cards from the shift and give us like $5. A lot of regulars specifically til us to keep the tip ourselves.

When I was a bartender we never claimed cash tips so I always tip in cash if possible. Then it looks like I spent less too.

I could see how this could how this could tow the line of emotional affair.

I think, personally, I'd be really uncomfortable with DH going to another female for advice or a person to vent to about things between me and him. I have zero issues with DH having lunch with female coworkers solo or whatever, but a specific GTG to discuss issues in his personal life feels like it crosses boundaries. I'd never do it to him.

DH knew I was going and that I needed to talk to someone other than him. I wouldn't have a problem with him doing the same with a female friend. If it made him uncomfortable in any way I wouldn't have gone.

I guess I feel guilty because I wish DH knew me as well as friend... I think the knowing/understanding me better just comes from the fact of knowing each other for longer and going through shit together when we were kids.

I have 3 FFFC:
1: I don't have time to read the whole thread before posting, although I wish I could (working today and only have half an hour for lunch)

2: I did read the first 2 pages and I had no idea that weaning BF could make you a raging bitch. I have been weaning from the pump this week, and I have little to no patience for the pain med seekers I am dealing with at the hospital right now.

3: I always thought I would love BFing, but I hated it from day 1 and when my baby was 3 months old I went to EPing, and now that he's 7 months old and flu season is over, I am quitting the pump too, and I don't even feel guilty.

I don't like one of the kids in DS' DC class. He's usually in with the older toddler babies, and this kid looks like one of the oldest in that room, because he's really tall. My reasoning for not liking the poor babe is twice now he's run up to me with no warning and wiped his nasty, snotty, stranger-kid nose on my pants. It nauseates me just thinking about it. Like, it's cool that I'm approachable enough for this rando toddler to want to run up to me but I do not know you and your bodily fluids are not welcome inside my personal bubble. Get away from me.

I'm the exact same way. The kid I watch during the week makes me gag on the regular. Changing his diapers makes me nauseous every. single. time. I have zero issues with my own kid's drool or spit up or poopy diapers, but if this kid drools on me I want to die.

Here's my FFFC. It's by far my most embarrassing FFFC. When @MrsBadKat posted to @HilarityEnsued on Monday, I opened it because I thought they might be discussing an Atlanta GTG, but it was just a post that a PM had been sent. In the minutes between that post, and the posts that started making it clear what was going on, I decided that they were PMing about an Atlanta GTG instead of discussing it openly on the board because they didn't want me to come. Like me, specifically. Because I couldn't think of anyone else who would be annoying or disliked enough to exclude, so by process of elimination the annoying person must be me.

So amongst Delores's many crimes against humanity, she also caused a situation that forced me to recognize that everything is not always about me, and I dislike learning valuable life lessons.

Also, I posted that because I thought people could relate to my Bump insecurity spiral, or at least would think it's funny. I am not trying to get people to tell me I'm not annoying or disliked or whatever, so please none of that, seriously. I think I've made it really clear that I'm cool with being annoying as long as everyone tells me I'm pretty.

@Studyinpink‌, not yet. I am making all kinds of excuses in my head like "I want to use a test I've used before and not a foreign one" (I just got home this morning and then showered and came straight to work) and "I don't want to waste money on a test; I'll wait and see if AF is just late."

But I think the real reason why I'm delaying taking it is because I'm kind of scared to find out the result and want to hold on to the hope that I'm pregnant even if I'm not. Plus, I've had two early m/c's before, and I'd be really scared of it happening again. The doctor said they were not my fault and nothing I could have prevented, but I'm probably going to be really nervous the next time I'm pregnant.

Ok, that was a long answer, but I will probably test today or tomorrow.
