Over 41 year old mom with miracle baby....

Hi ladies, I had a bad experience on another board here someone suggested this one!  So HI!!!!   

I'm due Nov 16, 2014.   I'm 13 w3D today and am hoping that we go full term!

I am grateful to have a 21 year old, with lots of sad stuff in between that I don't want to rehash tonight!

But today I celebrate I got Panorama tests results and we are doing well, baby is all normal thank god!

I'm located in NYC.   

Where is everyone else at?

    Congratulations on the Panorama test results and welcome. I'm miles away in MI but I do have a 21 year old daughter :D

    Thats so exciting isn't it. My girlfriend told me that she was able to relive all of her first daughter's first's through the second child.  Do you know what you are having? I'm having a boy and am super excited!    When are you due?   I'm due in November.   Do you have any other children, this will only be my second. Call me crazy, but I will try for a second at 42 then I'm done,I figure I've come this far!

    Hi There and welcome!  Congrats on the results!  I am almost 40 and having #3.  I have a 12 and a 9 year old (he'll be 10 when the baby is born).  This is a great board - I also had a not-so-great experience on another board.  Oh, and congrats on the panorama screen!

    Welcome to the group!  Congratulations on receiving good results. 
    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    Thanks so so much,  I am so encouraged by the messages, and the good wishes, and the whole 41 year old thing isn't bothering me anymore...I'm truly beginning to enjoy it rather than worry.

    I love the boards, you truly learn TONS!   Oh another question  are you worried about the age difference, my DD is 21!

    I'm past caring that there is such an immense age gap between my kids now. My DD is excited even though small children are not her favorite thing in the world (I'm kinda pleased about that) and my DS who is 16 is quietly excited in a teenage boy way. I do get a little embarrassed about it sometimes but the reactions I get are generally 'WOW' but in a nice way, I think. Hopefully that's because I don't look old enough to have a 21 year old ;)

    Welcome! I also have a 21 yo, plus a 17yo, 16yo, 13yo, and 10yo. Dh and I wanted just one more :) I'm 42, and got great results from that Nt and mat121 test-having a girl!

     Like PP said, this board is pretty mellow-for me at this point in life I just don't get worked up over much lol.

    Hi! I'm 41, too! I am 10 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first just turned six at the end of January! Just had the blood draw for my NIPT yesterday and am nervously waiting for the results. Oh, and I am in the Northern Virginia area. Congratulations and welcome!
