How many people were in your wedding party? We had 5 groomsmen and 3 bridesmaids. I actually kicked out two of my bridesmaids about four months before the wedding because they didn't want to wear the dress I had chosen and that everyone else had already bought. (Turned out to be the best decision of my wedding haha.)
Are you still close to all of them? Yes. The guys are like my brothers and the girls are like my sisters -- one of them is my sister. We are incredibly close-knit.
How many guests? I think there were about 130.
Did you get married in a church/temple/religious place or somewhere else? We got married in a church and had our reception at a country club.
What colors/theme/style was your reception? We went with "timeless." Not really sure if that's a theme. We didn't really use a lot of flowers, just candles and flower petals and colors were black, white and dark purple.
What time of day and day of the week was your wedding? We got married on 11/11/11 (three years to the day of our first date). It was a Friday evening at about 7 p.m.
Are you still close to all of them? Nope. I'm still in touch with all of them, but not regularly, and largely on FB with at least a couple. Some, though, are still like brothers and sisters.
How many guests? I think it was about 125
Did you get married in a church/temple/religious place or somewhere else? Ceremony was on a rooftop deck overlooking the beach, and the reception was inside the ballroom under that deck, so still overlooking the beach.
What colors/theme/style was your reception? It was all very beachy - blues and greens (but the BMs wore black), lots of hydrangeas, the cake had little Adirondack chairs on top and tiny little dune fences on the sides, with brown sugar to look like sand, the seating cards were starfish . . .
What time of day and day of the week was your wedding? Sunday afternoon at 1:30 - the reception was all over and done by 7 pm so we could continue the party with close friends and family at the beach.
Are you still close to all of them? Yes! MOH was my DH sister and BMW was DH brother.

How many guests? We invited all extended family members, but didn't expect a huge turn out because so many lived so far away from us. We sent out invites to 160 people, but approximately 40-50 showed up.

What colors/theme/style was your reception? Our colors were sour-apple and grape (hence my screen name), and we had a vague game- theme. We gave out dice and Legos as favors, had board games to play instead of dancing, and our cake topper was a knight and fairy as a nod to meeting through World of Warcraft.
What time of day and day of the week was your wedding? Our wedding was a Saturday morning at 9:30! It caused drama because we couldn't get to the pavilion until 7:30 to decorate and my wedding planner/decorator lady showed up at 8:30! My dad, brother, and a handful of other guests ran around putting decorations up even as the music was starting.
Are you still close to all of them? Still talk to everyone. Though one I thought was my best friend talked shit about my marriage to other people. That's ok- keep that one at a little bit of a distance now a days but we still talk.
How many guests? 150+ all I know is they had the keg floating by dinner time! lol

What colors/theme/style was your reception? My "colors" were mostly red and I accented with hot pink and black. I got married in a garden, so I didn't really see a need for too many flowers!
What time of day and day of the week was your wedding? We got married June 14th, 2008 at 7pm. I don't have a picture for you but that tulle on my dress was HOT in the midwest summer. I got pissy half way through the posed photos and was like OK! I'm done! Lol
Are you still close to all of them? DH isn't really close with one of his groomsmen anymore but we still see everyone else all the time
How many guests? 30 at the wedding/after reception, although my in-laws had a BBQ reception at their house about 1 month later for 75 or so people

Are you still close to all of them? All but one. One of DH's groomsmen's wife had a falling out with the circle of friends about three years ago. So while DH is still facebook friends with that groomsman, we almost never see them.

Did you get married in a church/temple/religious place or somewhere else? Grounds of a bed and breakfast but married by my priest.
What colors/theme/style was your reception? We got married in the fall (October- what a lucky month for us), so I just picked fall colors. The reception was in a beautiful rustic style reception hall that the bed and breakfast had, so we didn't have to do much with the space.
What time of day and day of the week was your wedding? Saturday and 11:30 am. I loved having a lunch time wedding. Cheaper on the food and alcohol and we had the evening to ourselves.

Are you still close to all of them? Ironically closer to the sister we asked first since announcing the baby. I am close with all of my friends. Always will be no matter how much time will pass.
How many guests? 125... 5 were from my side of the family... DH's family is huge.

Are you still close to all of them? I had 2 sisters, 1 sister in law and 4 friends... I'm still good friends with all but one of those 4 friends. She kind of pushed her way into my wedding and said I'd be in hers. She got married last Oct. and I wasn't invited. Her loss.
How many guests? I feel like we had over 200, but I can't remember. It was a LOT of people.

What time of day and day of the week was your wedding? 3PM ceremony and a dinner/party starting at 5. I remember sitting at a bar at 2am with a few family members once the party ended. I had a cousin feeding me Hawaiian versions of long islands, and I was not aware of strong they were.... whoops!

Church, although we chose our own Lutheran church vs. finding a Catholic church to please my family. Which I will never be forgiven for, as I'm a heathen for not being Catholic anymore.
Colors: Fall colors, nothing specific. The girls had dark red dresses, which they chose, I didn't care about the color, just fall-ish.
Are you still close to all of them? Yes, to the MOH and Best Man. The other two we've basically just fallen out of touch with (it's been 5 years for us). We weren't and still aren't particularly close to the flower girl and ring bearer but they are related to us.

Our reception was at a country club that's now being knocked down for a subdivision. Gosh, this sounds awful! It was really pretty I promise and I hope this isn't a bad sign for our marriage.

Found out I was pregnant and called off the big wedding and Jeremy and I are going to Vegas and eloping June 17! I've never been this happy I did not wAnt the big wedding in the beginning but we did lose a lot of money on deposits. =\

I haven't seen or talked to one almost since my wedding, but she joined the AF and is stationed in the middle of nowhere and busy all the time, so it's understable. The rest I keep in touch with or are family. H is actually out at a bachelor party with almost all of his former groomsmen at this moment lol.

Did you get married in a church/temple/religious place or somewhere else? In a Southern mansion-style house that specializes in weddings. I loved it - they took care of everything, all the little details, and it was beautiful. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Outdoor ceremony (short!) but indoor reception with the option for the guests to walk through the little fenced-in garden lit with streetlamps. It was lighthearted and lovely.
What colors/theme/style was your reception? Light garden summer wedding with a kind of Jane Austen-y feel: sky blue, white and yellow. We had white daises and roses and lacy details with lemonade, sweet tea and swing music, haha.
