I don't think I should have to pay my "share" of our lunch when we took our secretaries out for secretaries day.  Typically when we do office lunches the office pays for it.  (We have a very small office of only 6 employees) When I got back to my office I was informed of my "share" without being informed this is the way this worked before we went out.  My "boss" didn't eat at lunch that day and then proceeded to be the debt collector.  He just reminded me for the 2nd time.  I think I'll keep letting him remind me.
So, is your boss paying his share?
I'm not sure he just told me the other two girls in our office have paid and just wanted to remind me. Based on the amount he's asking for, I don't think so.

I don't think bicyclists should be legally allowed on the road where cars drive, especially country roads where there are a lot of curves and no shoulder (and definitely no bike lane).

    And freakin' tractors too!

They're his admins too. I don't care if he didn't eat - he should be paying his share too. I'm getting a whole bunch of righteous indignation going on your behalf here.
My point exactly!   And when we just went out for a retirement lunch a few months ago...where he invited his wife to come he used to office card to pay!!  It just irritated me I wasn't  informed that we were all going dutch before hand and then was informed of my share after the fact.

I think most nail art is ugly and tacky.  I don't get the appeal, at all.

Sitting next to a lady in the ob's waiting room with ridiculousness on her fingers. Like 3D crap and nails so long she's tap tap tapping on her phone with her knuckles (cause heaven forbid she be less annoying by turning her sound off in a waiting room!)
  • Apparently it is unpopular in my office to think you should stay home when you are sick. You/your work is not that important. Your secretary is now sick and it will spread from there. Thanks!

@BP607 That totally isn't cool @BP607 ! Everyone should have been informed & given the opportunity to opt in or out.

This would piss me off too. I can't afford lunches out, so if it's a work function that I'm expected to attend then I damn well expect them to foot the bill.

  • I hate the pink and blue hospital hats. Recently I've seen where they now have the same hat but with bows on it for the girls. I hate that even more. I pretty much despise big bows or flowers on itty bitty babies.

I bought all the bows for LO. She probably won't keep them on and I won't force her, but i love them!
  • Mayonaise is disgusting.

Miracle Whip if it's needed.  I'm more of a mustard girl though.

I want to squeeze that baby!!! *sigh* Sheer cuteness.

  • I've almost been run over by cyclists riding ON THE SIDEWALK!! No no no. There's a freaking bike lane on the road for a reason. Use it. And these were grown-ass men, too. Riding the WRONG direction (facing traffic) and not saying anything as they zoomed up behind me while I was running. Fortunately I don't ever wear headphones/listen to music when I run so I heard them, but seriously. You're on a bike. Which belongs on the road. Sidewalks are for pedestrians.

Mayo is the most disgusting food ever, @Nichole8787‌

MW is gross. Give me mayo!

I have a friend who hates mayo. When he drinks too much he passes out and you have pretty much free reign on what you want to do to him. One night he passed out while eating funions and he continued to try and eat anything you put in his mouth.  We fed him funions covered in Mayo that night and he is still teased about it till this day.

What baby? I can't see her over the noise of that bow!

DD still loves all the bows. Which reminds me I need to head over to ETSY and order this years bows. The ones from prior years are not nearly big enough!

Miracle whip is foul. So is lite ranch, diet pop, sweet n low and low fat yogurt.

My unpopular opinion: I don't think that fruits and veggies should have points on weight watchers. I was curious and found that a full avocado and a snickers bar were only 1point different. That is madness. Eat the damn avocado and get over the fact that it has fat in it.

I've eaten the damn avocado. I have consumed one per day for the last 10 days in my quest to put weight on the baby.

Went to the ob today for a NST. I've lost more than 3 pounds. (Though baby looked good fluid-wise and HR-wise)

I won't even say what else I have consumed in the form of nuts and cheese and whole milk dairy.

I wish I could eat like this in real life and still lose weight.

    Baby legs are dumb.

The only people who can have a mild argument in favor of them are cloth diaperers.

    They're just dumb.

Also, I'm allowed to have my opinion because I bought a dozen pairs for my DD, and actually attempted to use them. My opinion is not based off of cute photos it's based on actually using them.

I'm a FTM, so I have no basis for an opinion of my own, but I just visited my BFF in Brooklyn a few weeks ago, and she put them on her 8-week old son to use them as "sock trappers".  They were tight enough over the top of his socks/booties that they kept them from falling off when we were out walking around.  She said she lost too many shoes with her first kid, so she started using baby legs as a kind of trap to keep the shoes on with her second, and I thought this idea was brilliant.  I may or may not have gone out and bought about a zillion pairs after our visit.

I definitely thought they were dumb before this, though.
