Unfortunately, I think many of you can relate to this, but the innocence of pregnancy = baby was stripped away from me last year. This pregnancy has been amazing, scary, beautiful, terrifying, and really hard, but it took until last night to actually believe that this pregnancy meant baby.
A little over 10 years ago, I purchased a pack of Disney Princess books that came in a special edition package and thought to myself "One day I'm going to read these to my daughter". I was in high school still, what a silly thought to have then. Last night, I actually placed those books on bookshelves made by DH and I in the nursery. I stepped back and couldn't stop staring at the books with tears in my eyes, thinking "I'm actually having a daughter"! Pic attached
