We're in the awkward phase where 9 month stuff is getting too tight and 12 months is still way too big. Most of his summer stuff is in 12 months and I can't wait to start wearing all the cute new outfits!

This for us too.

He can still wear some of his 6 month stuff but I moved him to 9 month when I bought his summer clothes so he's been wearing 9 month. Some of it's huge on him and some of it fits well... why... why can't the sizes just be true???????
I voted 12m. She still wears 6-12 for the winter stuff she has, but I've bought all her summer clothes in 12-18, and they also seem to fit fine. The 6-12 are getting short in the arms and legs, but I'm just waiting for the season to change.
ETA: I gave up a while ago on buying anything with feet, since she's way long. Not worth waiting for her to grow into the body if I just have to cut the feet off the sleeper.

Us too. Pants are the hardest, because they are either too small, or fall off when I pick him up, lol.
Oliver is tiny and still fits in his 6 month clothes, but I bought his summer clothes in 9 months so he's been wearing some of those too.
This is us. They can fit their 6 month pjs and onsies still but all the summer stuff I'm buying and putting them in are 9-12 months. But only onsies and dresses and fitted leggings. They walk right out of shorts and any diaper covers. And shoes are ridiculous. They wear 6 months and those are slightly loose. I put them in a pair of Carter's 3-6 crib shoes yesterday that finally fit.
DD's 12 month winter stuff just fit. I bought her summer clothes in 18 months and they are a little big, but not terrible. For Children's Place she is 12-18 months.
I'm so confused about sizing. There are kids at daycare who look tiny compared to Cali but they are wearing 12 month clothes. And she is 20lbs and still roomy in 9 month clothes. She always surpasses the weight limits by a few pounds.
Also...I've heard that the difference between 9mo clothes and 12mo isn't that big at all. Is this true? If so, I better start getting her in those 12mo clothes before she grows out of them. So much cute stuff!
Mostly 12 months. 12 months for pants always. But she still fot into 9 months tops/onesies. They are starting to get tight though. I put both the 9 month and 12 month tops on her.

some 9 months, but old navy and baby gap are mostly sized at 6-12 months, so those fit still. moving into mostly 12 months, though it's still a little big on him.
the boys basically share socks now because I can't keep it straight whose socks are whose, for the most part. I can't imagine how hard this must be for @valstulas with four boys!
Addie is a peanut. I just packed up clothes that she outgrew today and she still fit in some of her 3 month onesies but I put them all away because they were just starting to get tight. She fits perfectly in 6-9 month clothes.

DS is all over the place. Onsies he usually wears 18-24 months because he is pretty long. For shirts and pants/shorts though he wears mostly 12 months because he is fairly lean through the middle. This is such a pain when you want to buy the cute layette sets and your kid is a different size in each piece included in the set!
On average Nadia is wearing 9-12 months. But all her 6-12 months from Gap still fit great. I have been buying new clothes as 18-24 months for later in the summer, but they swim on her right now so it might be a mistake since she seems to have slowed way down growth wise.
