PSA How to use expired Buy Buy Baby Coupons

So I learned a new "trick" the other day from a clerk at Buy Buy Baby. Apparently if you have expired Buy Buy Baby coupons you can use them by making your purchase at Buy Buy Baby without using the coupons then take your purchase (or just the receipt) to Bed Bath and Beyond where they can do a price adjustment using you expired coupons. I am guess you could also do the same thing using expired Bed Bath and Beyond Coupons... You can also use Buy Buy Baby coupons at Bed Bath and Beyond. I find this to be extremely annoying but hey it's worth it to save a bunch of money!

    Yeah it's so weird to me how Buy Buy won't accept coupons once they are expired, but Bed Bath will take anything and they are the same company. If I don't have any valid Buy Buy coupons I just use unexpired Bed Bath coupons since I get them in the mail all the time.

    It would have to be a pretty amazing coupon in order to make this worth my time if I wasn't going to BBB for another reason.  Otherwise just a major inconvenience.

    There's a Bed Bath two doors down from our Buy Buy. It is a big PITA but if I'm going to save 20% or more it's worth it to me.

    Ours is brand new and their computer won't let them. :( Still blows my mind that I can return Buy Buy items to Bed Bath... You can't return Old Navy goods at Gap!

    Our Buy Buy Baby and Bed Bath and Beyond are actually in the same store. So I used some Buy Buy Coupons (I think one was expired) and some Bed Bath and Beyond coupons during my last visit.
