  I just want to add that he made up for with money, sorries and promises to never do it again and stuff like this. He didn't just give me money and I said "oh ok, it's cool" I actually didn't talk to him until today. He called Sunday and yesterday to see if I was still upset and I was/am still upset so he's texting and stuff saying he won't ever forget to get a card again and that he won't ever come to Texas again without seeing us. He's just trying to make things right I guess. Point is, I'm over it but he doesn't know that. I get over things quickly, even if he didn't give me money. By nature I'm very forgiving. I'm the type of person that when I get extremely upset, 1 hour later I'm over it.

  Maybe it's time to actually be upset with the way he treats you instead of screaming, threatening and then getting over it right away.

  He never explicitly said. He eventually just apologized and says I'm beautiful and now he says he even likes my hair. I think he was just in a bad mood and overreacting to my hair. I was hurt, but we're over it now.

  I'm really not sure I could get over the way some people get treated by their SO/DH on this board. I mean, mine spaced on making a big deal about Mother's Day, but that was after a week of staying home from work to help with the baby bc my back was hurt and he gets up every other night with him too. It's crazy how shitty some people let themselves get treated.
