Nightmares??

Fourth...night...in...a....row

My previous GREAT sleeper (STTN 8-8) has been waking up SCREAMING 5x a night for the past few days. When I go into his room his eyes are still closed as he's screaming like mad. I rub his tummy and his head and talk to him for about 5 minutes and he goes back to sleep. 

I don't think he's hungry because without feeding him he'll go back to sleep and I don't think he's teething or in pain because he is perfect when he's awake.

Is it possible my little man is having nightmares about something 4 or 5 times a night now? Anything else I should be considering?

    Mine was doing that and I took him in and he had an ear infection

    Alex cried out like she was in pain the other day, but she was still asleep. I'm guessing nightmare or night terror, cause it hasn't happened again.

    Same situation as prior comment. This was us, went to pedi today and LO has an ear infection. May be worth getting it checked out if the screaming continues.
