1st Trimester

At what pt of no symptoms would you call OB?

I am about to be 6 weeks-- between today and Wed-- based on my estimations. I felt exhausted and had breast pain at the beginning but now I have nothing.

With my first I had really strong reactions to food smells and minor, minor morning sickness.

TIA.

  • Every pregnancy is different, count yourself lucky you aren't having any m.s.  I don't think it's anything to worry about, mine has come and gone...and come back.

  • symptoms come and go...and really at 6wks pg, the best (worst) is likely yet to come.  i wouldn't call my doc with being symptom-less.  i'd be thanking my lucky stars for a few days respite.  every pg is different - and this will likely be VERY different from your last.

  • Symptoms come and go.  You can mention it at your next OB appointment, but I don't think it's reason to call.

  • I wouldn't call with lack of symptoms at all.  That happens.
  • I wouldn't call either, but I just had to add that I'm in the exact same boat right now compared to my last one.

If you're concerned it won't hurt to call. I thought nothing of my lack of symptoms with my last pregnancy and I wish I had.

  • I gave in and called Friday asking to have blood work done. The anxiety was killing me. I would rather feel sick from ms than from worry that I have no symptoms and something is wrong. I get my results tomorrow. The Dr.'s office didn't seemed annoyed that I called and called the order right in for me.
  • Like other have stated every pregnancy is differnt. With DS I had m/s from 6 weeks until 16 weeks and it was pretty bad.

This time around I maybe had a week of not feeling to great but it was nothing like m/s. It started at week 8 and ended at week 9.

Dont' freak out about not having symptoms and consider yourself lucky. I did, do. The only symptoms I had in 1st tri were sore boobs and tiredness.
