This
is a weekly check-in for members in their third trimester. You can
feel free to join at 28 weeks and we will bid you an excited farewell when you greet your little ones! How far along are you? Upcoming appointments? Any updates to share? How are you feeling?
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special?
**Recent Grads** Congrats to our mamas of these beautiful babies!! Feel free to give us an update on how you and LOs are doing! @RosyGlow baby girl @CMDR513baby girl @talon1226 baby girl @curlylocks3 baby girl and baby boy (overachiever :P)
@ThoseThreeWords dude I can't believe you're already in third tri either, it seems like just yesterday you got your BFP! I am loving how fast pregnancy is going. You have lots of exciting stuff this week! Sorry you're still dealing with m/s, that's awful!
Upcoming
appointments? May 20th for regular baby doc appt, then the 23rd for final growth scan, then June 3rd for final baby doc appt then holy crap babies are here. Tomorrow we have a hospital tour (my 3rd one!) since hubby couldn't make the other 2
Any updates to share? Today marks 30 days until babies arrive, if they stay in until 38 weeks as they're supposed to :P We're moving right along with things... the nursery is about 90% done, the car seats are installed, the bags are packed and the house is about as tidy as it's gonna get. Now we just wait and try to keep busy!
How are you feeling? Physically, not awesome lol. These kids have given me asthma, anemia, carpal tunnel, SPD (pelvic pain), RLP of death, gingivitis and insomnia. Mentally, I'm exhausted. Emotionally, I'm sooo happy, excited and ready to meet our little ones!
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? This year we didn't really do anything for me. We hung out with my parents and went to the cycling races. It was a lot of fun but it really wore me out. Next year my babies will be about a year old and I can't wait for that Mother's Day!
How far along are you? 33 weeks and 2 days Upcoming appointments? I have an OB appointment on Friday Any updates to share? We have our L&D Class this Saturday. How are you feeling? Pretty good, mainly just tired and I keep getting cramps in my legs.
TTC #1 since June 2013
Me: 24
DH: 26 Very Low Count (only 15 active), Low Testosterone
Hi Ladies! I'm 30w3d and hanging in there! I'm feeling blessed to be this far along with the twins but man is it uncomfortable! I have developed horrible carpel tunnel in my hands, and it is so painful! I am pretty much awake all night doing hand exercises and peeing every hour from the pressure of baby girl slamming her head into my bladder. It is so crazy to feel their body parts bulging out of me! DH & I took our infant CPR class last week, and I am heading to my weekly check-up in a little bit. Hopefully I get a good report!
QOTW: Mother's Day was a much happier day for me this year than last, that's for sure!! I had a really nice day with my mom while DH golfed with his. Then both sets of our parents came to the city, and we all had a really nice dinner together. I had several strangers wish me a Happy Mother's Day throughout the week, and I would look over my shoulder to see if they were talking to someone else. It's still so surreal to me! I hope you all enjoyed the day!

30 weeks tomorrow...woah the 30's. Starting modified bed rest at 21 I didn't know if we'd reach the 30's! Feeling pretty good and still swimming every other day. Found a beautiful dress for my shower this past weekend. It's not maternity but flows so I can wear it again. I see my MFM on wed. And hope my GD and anemia results are ok. So, to make you laugh check out my picture. I remember the beginning of being pregnant do well when you had to wait between beta and first u/s. I swear I took over 10 tests! I cleaned out the bathroom closet and decided I could pitch them now! - which happened in the midst of baby hiccups!
Hi ladies! Omg I'm second on the list to have my baby! I can't lie I might get stabby if I'm not one of the next girls to have a baby. My jealousy equals love tho!
How far along are you? 37w4d
Upcoming appointments? Weekly appointment on Thursday. I know cervical checks are pointless but I'm looking forward to mine. Curious minds need to know what going on down there.
Any updates to share? Some of you know I successfully finished my first semester going back to school! What's making me emotional was I signed up last year after I POAS and It came out negative and I knew I needed something to keep me busy and then two days later I POAS before beta and it was positive!
How are you feeling? I complained last week so I won't go on and on even though I could. @katekat8721 is making me feel guilty about complaining lol growing humans are hard! I got an excersize ball and my hips don't feel like they are going to break off which is nice.
I have been having contractions that lead no where!
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special?
DH surprised me with flowers and a framed poem he wrote. He also got me a nice card and chocolate. The cutest thing was he got me or the baby really a onesie that says "I kicked my mommy for 9 months and she still loves me" he made me cry, I love him so much. He also took me out all weekend and cleaned the house so I got a little vacation from cooking and cleaning.
HOLY SCHMOLY. I'm part of third tri now? Can someone pinch me to wake me up from this dream? I'm pretty sure I'm still the sad infertile lady who will never have a child. Yet I look down and there's this large belly protruding from my body and I frequently feel kicks to my bladder about 50 times a day. It doesn't make sense sometime because I still don't believe it! I am SO grateful to be here! Words can't express. Thank you for adding me!
As for me, I have a scheduled C-section on July 29th. I'm 77 days, 19 hours, 12 minutes and 14 seconds away from meeting my oh-so-prayed-for baby girl. But it's not like I'm excited or anything. ;-)
We have an elective 3d scan on Saturday just for fun to try to get some good pictures of her. I'm so excited I could burst!
I'm managing gestational diabetes between now and her birth, but things have gotten much easier as I get the hang of it. I think I'm going to ask to be put on insulin this week because I'm getting kind of erratic results with the oral pills, plus I understand insulin is easier. Needles don't scare us IF ladies. Bring it on!
QOTW: My mother's day was blissful and amazing. DH pampered me and made a beautiful dinner and got me a necklace. I miss my own mom who passed away in 2011, and sadly my dad stood us up for dinner yesterday even though he said he'd come. But that didn't really hit me until this morning. I was able to enjoy yesterday pretty thoroughly. But of course, still praying and remembering the ladies who still struggle.

Hi ladies. Glad to see everyone is doing well! Good luck to those mommas who are nearing the end! How far along are you? 31.5 Basketball stomach stage Upcoming appointments? Just went today! Everything was just fine which is good. Any updates to share? We are taking DD to a sibling class that the hospital offers this weekend. They will also give her a tour. I'm excited for her. How are you feeling? With my first pregnancy I remember getting breathless pretty easily. That just started with me and it's annoying!
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? Well, this was my fourth mother's day and yesterday wasn't too special. DD was in a three-year old rage so it was rather rough. Today was better, so I'm pretending that today is Mother's Day!
Hi all. So excited to see the ladies graduating with their LOs and to see new faces in the check in too!
I am 35w6d today and all is just chugging along per usual. They really haven't done much at my recent appointments, I don't have another one for a week yet, so I don't have much to go on other than baby is head down with a foot firmly implanted in my right rib, lol. I did begin to use some primrose oil this week to help soften up my cervix in case there is some scar tissue there so hopefully it will help things along when the time comes.
We have been putting the final touches on the nursery, Hs FatHeads came today, and it's looking really good! I am going to attempt to make some things for the baby this week (a ring sling and some swaddle blankets) so FX they come out ok! I'm feeling fine, just fatigued and as a rolly polly pregnant lady should feel, lol.
Mother's Day was pretty low key around here, but we did have my mom over for dinner and had our first cook out of the year! So nice being able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather!

Hi ladies!! I'm so excited to be apart of the 3rd tri check in! Thanks so much for the add @katekat8721!
How far along are you? Today I am 28w2d! Upcoming appointments? My next appointment is next Friday and that's just a regular check up/monitoring. My iron has been weird so my OB is keeping a close eye on it. Any updates to share? I got my glucose results back and everything looks good! I'm so grateful for that because I had a weird feeling it would come back high. I had to go get my rhogam shot this week because of my blood type and that was a pain in the butt...literally. How are you feeling? I am feeling pretty good. I can't distinguish who is who all the time and I always get worried one is moving around and the other isn't, I'm probably driving DH crazy. I think last night was the official first night I felt those contractions, it was scary because it reminded me of cramps.
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? It was awesome! I loved getting all the text messages from friends and families wishing me a happy mother's day, it was great! I spent all day with the family and we went shopping and out to lunch.
Siggy warning...

I can't believe it...third tri :-) first tri seemed to take forever and now time seems to be flying and my belly growing by the day. I'm feeling pretty good except my feet seem to double in size by the end of the day. It must be because I'm on my feet all day, because the rest of me is fine. I'm still wearing my wedding ring. No appointments until next week, then they are all in one day - mfm with growth scan, ob appointment and I should get to schedule c-section, and then baby basics class at night.
QOTD: We started working on the nursery this weekend and that was more exciting then our Mother's Day Breakfast :-)
@liz4paws : sorry to hear the oral meds aren't exactly working. I can say I find insulin easier then oral meds for tight control. After IVF and everything else, insulin needles are nothing...I don't even feel them.
@katekat8721 -thanks so much for adding me. I was excited to see my name on the list when I opened the thread :-)
8/2011: Diagnosed with ovarian cancer, ovaries and tubes removed
Hi girls! Congrats to all of those who recently welcomed their babies and welcome to all of the newcomers to 3rd tri! Glad to hear everyone's doing pretty good.
I am 34 weeks tomorrow and just had an OB appointment today. Everything looked good so another 2 weeks until I go back. I still continue to feel pretty good - just out of breath a lot and some low back pain are my biggest complaints, nothing too bad though! I really can't complain. This weekend we had our birth class - it was 6 hours each day so it took up a big chunk of the weekend. Our instructor was great though - she was previously a doula and had a wealth of knowledge, was very relatable, and had a good sense of humor - she made the class interesting! For Mother's Day DH got me a massage ball and a onesie that says 'Dad and I Agree, Mom's the Best', which was very sweet of him and I wasn't expecting anything!
29 weeks and 1 day (for a few more minutes!) and feeling okay, other than a few aches and pains here and there. Definitely more uncomfortable now that he's bigger and really stretching my stomach out! Just getting out of bed to pee makes me feel like I pulled about ten muscles in my lower abdomen!
I never got a phone call about my glucose test but they said that they only call with "bad news", so I hope that means I passed (watch...they will call tomorrow to tell me I didnt!)! My next regular OB appointment is in a couple weeks but it's nothing exciting..just the pee in a cup, BP, weight and doppler.
I made an appointment for one of those ultrasound places for this coming Wednesday for a 3D/4D ultrasound since I wanted to see my boy again! I hope he cooperates so I can see his little face! I can't wait!
QOTW: We didn't do much of anything for Mother's Day. We were supposed to have our infant cpr class at the hospital but the hospital forgot they had a class booked apparently, so we drove all the way there and no one showed up to teach us!

DH: SA is good
May 2013: CD3 Blood work-normal June 2013: Hsg-Right tube blocked

August 2013: IVF #1 Cancelled- Abnormal embryos
October/November 2013: IVF #2 w/ICSI
November 8, 2013: Transferred two early blasts (no frosties)
Wow, I am next on the list!! 39 weeks and 5 days and I am SO ready to meet this little one! I really thought she'd be here by now!!! I am so grateful to be pregnant that I've tried not to complain, but I am huge and uncomfortable and still working. Bleh. And I can't sleep. My last appointment was at 39 weeks. I was 2cm dilated and he did a membrane sweep. The rest of the day I was cramping and nauseous so I thought it worked, but I'm still preggers! I am having lots of BH contractions but nothing regular. QOTD: This Mother's Day was surprisingly emotional. Last year it was the day after an embryo transfer and we were so hopeful. My hubby cooked breakfast this year and got me a sweet card and a gift certificate for a massage. I feel like it doesn't count yet, but I guess it should!
Hello hello!!! Thanks for the warm welcome! 28w today, and feeling the start of 3rd tri aches. Anymore than 2 12hr shifts in a row at work sure do a doozy on my back and ankles! Loving the mid-sleep heartburn and bed hogging tho! Appt yesterday was great. Kiddo is head down (for now of course). Got my TDAP updated and officially into every 2wk checkups. August still sounds so far away tho! I do need to get hubby and I signed up for prenatal class. I am super thankful that both my bff's are car seat techs, so I can drop in for installation anytime with them! DH is sure in for a real awakening with prenatal class; I've seen most of it as I do work L&D occasionally. (Insert evil laugh)
Quote: After getting home at 630am from a road trip, he did redeem himself with a gigantic mother's day card and a willow tree figurine for me. Plus a foot rub and back massage later that night. I suppose he gets an A for the day!

I love all the newbies this week! Welcome to the home stretch! And it seems like all our LOs and bodies have behaved... woohoo!
I'm due a month from tomorrow -- craziness!!! Every time I catch a reflection of myself from the side as I walk past windows or something I'm surprised that it's me. I keep thinking there's no way way I can get bigger, but then I wake up the next day and manage to have grown again. Our bodies are amazing with what they can handle!
We spent our weekend getting contractors arranged at our new house, and I'd like to pass on some very valuable advice: avoid sleeping (let's be honest, lying -- there can't be much sleeping!) on an air mattress at 35 weeks pregnant if at all possible! I managed, but rolling off that thing in the middle of the night 20x to use the bathroom got old really, really fast. Made for a glorious night's sleep the first night back home in a real bed though.
DH hid a mother's day card for me to find on Sunday morning, which was completely unexpected and made me a hot emotional mess for hours. Such gestures usually don't occur to him, so it caught me completely off guard. And then he lost track of time and forgot that he promised to make dinner, so we ate late and I had to cook -- making everything in the world make sense again

Hey ladies. You guys are all rock stars! This stuff is hard but I know we all think back to just last year and are so thankful. I am 36w5d and crampy, sore, and a little impatient! MD appointment this morning and was so hoping we progressed, but still 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Looks like they are in no hurry! So we scheduled an induction for next Thursday (38 weeks). I am so ready. QOTD: went to my moms for Mother's Day. It was also my sisters bday. They were all very sweet and got me some flowers. My DH, as usual, is pretty clueless. He didn't get me anything. Didn't even say happy Mother's Day.
Hi ladies! I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow - woohoo! The doctors are trying to get us to at least 35 weeks, hopefully past 36, so we'll see how the next few weeks go....at my OB appointment last week, the doc said that if I make it to 35 weeks, they'll go ahead and schedule a C-section for 37 weeks, just to have it on the books, but they don't think the babies will stay put that long. I'm at the hospital twice a week for non-stress tests, at the OB's office once a week for a check-in, and at the hospital every 1-2 weeks for an u/s - I'm living in waiting rooms right now! My blood pressure is now consistently high. I've done two 24-hour urine tests, and both came back high (the one last week was super high), so I'm monitoring my blood pressure at home every day in addition to all the appointments, since everyone seems pretty sure I'm going to develop preeclampsia at some point soon. In the meantime, I am grateful for every day these babies stay in my belly!
I feel very pregnant. Elephant-like pregnant. I swear I'm carrying 20 pounds of water weight, I am so swollen! I've never been this uncomfortable and miserable (but at the same time deliriously happy!) in my entire life!
QOTW: We didn't really do anything for mother's day. We spent Saturday evening at my in-laws for dinner with DH's family, and Sunday was just a lazy day at home. I went for a pedi yesterday, probably the last one I'll be able to get before the babies come!

@anations - good to know I'm not the only one with a completely clueless husband! Mine didn't acknowledge mother's day to me at all either! Then had the audacity that afternoon to ponder out loud how cool it would be to have his first father's day this year, since the babies will be here by then! And he got all pissy that night when I refused to give him a backrub (I mean, where's my backrub?!?!!), and didn't understand why I was upset. I still haven't explained it to him. My birthday is tomorrow, so we'll see if he makes up for it then - if not, then he may be getting an earful of my hormone-induced hurt feelings...

Hello everyone! It's great to hear that everyone is doing well and trucking along in the home stretch.
How far along are you? 34 weeks
Upcoming appointments? I had a sono and OB appointment today. Baby boy is doing great with growth and everything was very reassuring.
Any updates to share? Things are going really well. I've finally gotten some nesting energy and trying to put it to good use
How are you feeling? I'm feeling good. Some minor aches and pregnancy woes but nothing too bad. I have more energy now then I did several weeks ago so I'm running with it!
QOTD: Over the weekend my hubby and I did a local babymoon at a B&B 20 mins from our house. My inlaws stayed with my DD while we were gone. It was the first time since having my DD that we've done something like that. It was so nice and really good practice for my inlaws as they are watching DD while we're in the hospital. On Sunday we returned and spent the day with our little one. It was perfect.
Upcoming appointments? I have one a week from Wednesday, but nothing major.
Any updates to share? We took our childbirth class on Saturday. Can't believe we're far enough along to be in a childbirth class. My work shower is tomorrow.
How are you feeling?OK. I'm definitely slowing down a bit. More hip pain, lower back pain, and heartburn. And it's getting a little harder to get comfortable at night.
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? My wife and I agreed not to celebrate, but a co-worker did guilt her into buying me flowers. My dad and step-mother also bought us flowers and gave us a gift certificate for a "last dinner out" before the baby, and my sister bought us a hat and onesie.
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31! EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14 *Everyone welcome*
How far along are you? I am 29 weeks (my due date is July 28th)
Upcoming appointments? Just passed my glucose text last week. No gestational DM! I am now seeing my OBGYN every 2 weeks and I have an apppointment next week. It is surprising how fast things are moving! This week we just started the first week of maternity classes that last for 5 weeks.
Any updates to share? We are still working on getting the nursery together. I am already in nesting mode, cleaning and organizing. I am having 3 baby showers (one at work, one outside of work here in NC and one back in Washington, DC (my hometown) with all my family and friends there.
How are you feeling? I am feeling quite well. I have been blessed to have very little pregnancy symptoms up to now. Bleeding x 2 earlier on which they aren't sure why, but baby and I are well and have had no other instances for a while. I have also had occasional headaches. The main symptom is indigestion from hell, but considering all we went through to get pregnant and being "advanced maternal age" I will take it.
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? I was in Boston this past weekend with family to watch my younger brother graduate from Berklee College of Music. So, fun times with hubby and my family.
Married 11 years. PCOS; TTC since 2009; 3 unsuccessful IUIs; New RE. First & Hopefully Last IVF November 2013.
Sorry for the late check-in. I've been having fun over on the shower board haha. How far along are you? 34+ weeks (WHAT?!?) Upcoming appointments? Next Monday I have a regular check-up and then I'm moving up to the once/week check-up group. Holy crap! Any updates to share? Nothing too crazy. Our 'shower' is finally this weekend, so I'm looking forward to that. More so that I know what we still need to buy afterwards...it's looking like the big items, but we'll see. How are you feeling? Overall I'm feeling OK. The past two days my joints in my entire body decided that they wanted to ache. I know this is common, but it's weird that it came out of nowhere. I've also been waking up in the middle of the night with shooting pains in my hands, they're by far the worst. I do have some swelling, but it's really not all that bad - nothing out of the ordinary.
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? It was busy between seeing both of our families, but still nice to not feel sad for myself for once. I got a card and massage gift certificate from DH and a card from my sister, and flowers from just about everyone, which was nice. But I tried really hard not to think too much into it since I'm not officially a mama yet, I don't want to jinx anything!
Me 31 ~ DH 30 IVF/FET #1 - BFP!! CJW 6/15/2014 DX - PCOS 2004 FET #2 - scheduled for 11/24/15
Re: *5/12 3rd Tri Check-In*
Upcoming appointments?
Upcoming appointments? I have an OB appointment on Friday
Any updates to share? We have our L&D Class this Saturday.
How are you feeling? Pretty good, mainly just tired and I keep getting cramps in my legs.

@katekat8721 is making me feel guilty about complaining lol

Upcoming appointments? Just went today! Everything was just fine which is good.
Any updates to share? We are taking DD to a sibling class that the hospital offers this weekend. They will also give her a tour. I'm excited for her.
How are you feeling? With my first pregnancy I remember getting breathless pretty easily. That just started with me and it's annoying!
QOTD: How was your first Mother's Day? Did you do anything special? Well, this was my fourth mother's day and yesterday wasn't too special. DD was in a three-year old rage so it was rather rough. Today was better, so I'm pretending that today is Mother's Day!

QOTD: We started working on the nursery this weekend and that was more exciting then our Mother's Day Breakfast :-) @liz4paws : sorry to hear the oral meds aren't exactly working. I can say I find insulin easier then oral meds for tight control. After IVF and everything else, insulin needles are nothing...I don't even feel them. @katekat8721 -thanks so much for adding me. I was excited to see my name on the list when I opened the thread :-)
12/2011: Finished chemo
5/2013: Cleared for DE IVF

8/5/14: Grace was born!
I hope all of you have a great week!

How far along are you? 31w2d!
Upcoming appointments? I have one a week from Wednesday, but nothing major.
Any updates to share? We took our childbirth class on Saturday. Can't believe we're far enough along to be in a childbirth class. My work shower is tomorrow.
How are you feeling? OK.

Married 11 years. PCOS; TTC since 2009; 3 unsuccessful IUIs;
New RE. First & Hopefully Last IVF November 2013.
How far along are you? 34+ weeks (WHAT?!?)
Upcoming appointments? Next Monday I have a regular check-up and then I'm moving up to the once/week check-up group. Holy crap!
Any updates to share? Nothing too crazy. Our 'shower' is finally this weekend, so I'm looking forward to that. More so that I know what we still need to buy afterwards...it's looking like the big items, but we'll see.
How are you feeling? Overall I'm feeling OK. The past two days my joints in my entire body decided that they wanted to ache. I know this is common, but it's weird that it came out of nowhere.
