Has anyone noticed any food allergies/sensitivities?

LO has been eating like a champ, eating quite a variety of table/finger foods.  Tonight, we we had mahi mahi for dinner and gave him a little (He probably consumed ~2 tbs) He seemed to like it quite well, but then almost instantly he broke out in 6-8 welt-like red marks around his mouth.  The fish was marinated in ginger, soy, and balsamic vinegar, so it's hard to say what the reaction might have been from. (He has had lots of ginger before, so I guess it's either fish, soy, or the vinegar?) I washed his face with soap & water and the entire area cleared up in about 20 minutes.  He seemed happy and completely fine... just a little red/puffy.  

Its kind of ironic, since he just had a pediatrician appointment today and she encouraged us to give him everything we are eating except honey and peanut butter.  She actually specifically encouraged fish :-)  

Anyone else's LO have any food reactions?

    We gave our LO one of the stage 2 jars with pineapple and pears. She loved it--but soon after broke into a rash around her legs. We didn't isolate to the pineapple though (we have been battling eczema ALL winter long) However a few weeks later, we gave it to her again, and she developed a rash on her belly. 

    Neither myself or my husband or family have food allergies--so I am hoping it is just a reaction to citrus--and will hold off with citrus foods for awhile still.
