My boobs and nipples itch, but they hurt to touch...WTF!  Can I get a break already  lol

  • We traveled over the weekend and thankfully besides some of the wondeful chest pains I am having to deal with I felt good. MS definitely better until today. I am so freaking nauseous and keep gagging. I thought I was coming out on the better end of MS.

  • We need a house.  Houses are selling in our area in less than 24 hours for more than asking price and I am overwhelmed and frustrated and just want to cry.

  • We watch very little cable TV, mostly just Netflix and Hulu since we always miss things when they come on.  The one exception is Mad Men.  When we went to watch the new episode last night, AMC had an error message on it saying that this channel would be available shortly.  Well, it wasn't and we missed the show.  Ugh.  Of course the cable doesn't work the one time we want it to.

Fortunately they post the episodes online and you can sign in with your cable info and watch it later.

  • My belly is sooooo itchy!  I've scratched it so much its all red and blotchy now and I have 2 appts this week where they will be finding the baby's heartbeat.  I'm going to look like I have a crazy belly disease!

@mander82 I've been the same way, I'm just now able to eat fruit and veggies again!!  For weeks all I wanted was McDonalds fries, ice cream or cookies!  I gained 50lbs my last pregnancy (I lost all the weight plus 10lbs after with WW) and I refuse to let that happen again!

  • The student health center at UNC Charlotte is randomly closed today for "employee training" and I need to refill a medication.  There was no warning given about this at all.  We can't use other pharmacies or they charge us a ton.

The dog downstairs will not quit barking and it's driving me insane.  I cannot wait to move out of this godforsaken apartment complex.  The one perk to living here is a nice saltwater pool; however, they haven't even bothered to open it despite it being a high of 90 almost every day for the past week.

I am waiting on over $1000 of travel reimbursement for conference funding and the student accounts office is backed up so who knows when I'll see that money.

    GRRRRRR.

OMG...SO this. So far today, I'm back on track to eating healthy like I was before pregnancy. But McDonald's fries were my go to every...single...day!

My Monday Bitchfest is that I can't chew on the left side of my mouth. I need a dentist STAT. But they won't see me without notes from my hematologist and OB. OB thinks it's ridiculous that they need a note. Ok, I understand that's your opinion...but they want one. So why must you make me suffer and make phone calls all day? UGH

  • So last night I was all ready to give report to the night shift at 6:50pm, and then a tornado warning happens. Seriously? So we had to evacuate kids in window rooms (half our kids) to the middle of our floor and couldn't leave until it was over... at 8:15pm. Not exactly what I had in mind. At least we didn't get anything but heavy rain! I hate tornadoes.

Also - why am I feeling more nauseous now and the last few days than I have all pregnancy? I'm almost 13 weeks, come on body get it together! I'm ready for some kind of food to sound good again.

  • I'm really tired today. It thunderstormed last night, so between the lightning, thunder, and scared cat cuddled up against me, I didn't sleep well. The I had to wake up at 4:45 am to take DH to the airport.

At least I got to work earlier the normal, so I can leave early today andfp home and sleep.

  • I had a rather restless sleep last night, but I have the day off, so I was looking forward to sleeping in a bit. I woke up to the sound of my cat puking, got up to clean it and stepped in a pile of it. Then I had to clean up two more piles and go to the store to get carpet cleaner. Not a good Monday so far!

Yep!  I took a zyrtec every single day for two years to keep a handle on my allergies.  I stopped taking them with baby and BAM here they are.   Bitches.

  • Ugh, with all my pregnancy aversions, alcohol has never been one. I'm in the camp where I'd never drink more than a drop while pregnant, just in case, but what I wouldn't give to sit out sit when the weather is nice with a margarita, or cold beer, or lambic framboise... DD was born in October, so I've only ever been pregnant over summer. Boo!
  • I am overwhelmed by daycare/moving options.  We are planning on buying a house at the end of the year and hopefully moving in March-ish.  I'll be back at work in February (assuming all goes according to plan).  So we need to find a daycare close to where we will be living.  I can't find one close to my work because we'll be splitting drop off/pick up duty and DH WFH so it'd just be easier if it was close to home.

Well, yesterday DH said that he thinks we should consider other areas to house hunt other than the one we had (I thought) pretty much settled on.  So now I have no idea where we should look for day care.  Should we wait until we find the house and only have 2-3 months to find good care?  Should we gamble and pick a daycare and then if we need to find a new one, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it?

    It's stressing me out.

I totally feel you on the whole day care situation.   Baby will stay home with me or grandmas for the first year or two.   BUT i've recently learned that the good day cares in our area have a 2 year waiting list.  Whaa??  So, I think we are going to start looking now so baby will be able to go to the place of our choosing.

I know!  That's why I want to start looking NOW but what if we pick a daycare in town A and end up moving to Town Q?  Then we'll be back at square one.  I don't know.  I don't want to wait too long that the only options we have are shitty but I also don't want to have to do this twice.

What if you signed up for a daycare in Town A and Town Q?  That way if there is a waiting list you get on both of them.  You'll feel secure knowing baby is good regardless of where you move.   (I'm totally new to all of this so you may have to pay a fee to get on a waiting list.  Lord knows everything cost something these days).

That's a thought.  But our search area has been broadened quite a bit so I'm not sure how it will work.  Argh.  DH is confident it will all work out, I just get anxious about this kind of stuff.

  • Back ground: I lived in another state when DD was born and nobody here, my mother included, was able to attend my shower. Now that I am pregnant again, family has asked if I am having a second shower and my mother has told me that she wants to throw one. So, I figured it would be easiest to go with the flow. No registry, small gifts, that sort of thing. My younger cousin heard about it and decided to take it upon herself to tell me about how tacky it was. Showers are for first babies only. Then she informs me that she is going to have a gender revel party with her second baby. That way everybody will buy her what she actually wants off of her registry: gender neutral cloth diapers, cloth wipes, breast pump, more bottles, and some other stuff that she either threw out since having her son or didn't get the first time around. Ummm... Sorry sweetheart, but that is a baby shower where you intend to hold knowledge of your child's genitals hostage to guarantee people buy you the gifts you want. I know that what I am doing is a social etiquette faux pas, but at least I can own up to it. Edit for clarity

that's so ridiculous! i hate when people get their panties in a wad over a second shower. who cares!! if you think it's tacky then dont go. i think it's nice your mom wants to throw a shower and you'll have your family around you this time.

It's supposed to be in the triple digits all week. It's May, I am not ready for this heat. I am not looking forward to the extreme heat this summer. Plus we are in an extreme drought, which means major fire issues.
Triple digits? Fuck that. I hate being hot, 80 is a lot for me. And I tired to go to the gym today but my head is killing me because of my damn allergies. *i really enjoy cussing on the bump because I can't IRL. Damn kids.
Wait, I'm not supposed to swear in front of the kids? Whoops. I have such a potty mouth, and my husband gives me a hard time whenever one of the kids says something inappropriate. I'm especially bad when driving or watching Eagles games, but beyond that, I really think I'm doing better.

  • I felt like crap from the second I woke up today.  Took my prenatal, went to brush my teeth and guess what... :-&   So not cool....only the second time so far (13w today) so I really shouldn't complain about that.

Of course I HAVE to go to work....don't really have a choice...and my commute is the absolute worst.  So I trudge to the bus, take a nap for the hour I'm on there...catch my train for the second leg and now I'm coughing from the episode earlier and from post nasal(allergies).  Some whacko homeless lady starts SCREAMING at me, she gets up in my face lecturing me in brokern English about how I shouldn't be riding the train because I'm going to contaminate everyone!  Hey crazy subway lady...if I'm contaminating anyone with what I have I think the world might have bigger problems!!!!
