Mosquito bites?

E has 2 mosquito bites. They swelled up gigantic! At least as big around as a quarter, and probably raised up a full inch. They are huge!
Anyone else's LO do this? Any thoughts or recommendations for prevention/treatment?
TTC with PCOS since November 2009
IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
beta #2 11/28 = 2055
Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    Topical benedryl does wonders!

    @kmc84‌ Topical Benadryl says 2 and under to consult a dr. That's what I use on myself too.

    Our ped said it was last fine last summer when she was 6 ish months. She said as long as its just a drop to the effected area it's fine, just don't bathe her in it ;)

    I also have reactions like that. Try spreading a baking soda and water paste on the bug bite. Should draw out the itch.
    TTC since June 2011
    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12>

    That sounds awful! Would that constitute an allergic reaction? It sounds fairly common, given PPs' reactions, but it might still be worth mentioning to her pedi next time you're in.

    DX: PCOS (annovulatory)
    Feb 2012: IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP! 
    Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
    Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
    Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
    Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!
