BFN here too, on 14 dpt 13 dpiui. It really is devastating. How can such promising cycles with great stats fail? I don't get it. I am so depressed. It is going to be really hard holding it together for the Mother's Day family brunch today, especially since we told everyone about the IUI and they are all expecting good news. WHY? Sooo dumb of me! I'm of course holding out a pathetic hope for the beta but it is pretty bleak. I started off worrying about multiples and now it didn't even work at all. Makes me sick to my stomach, the emotions.

I'm so sorry Kristen. It does hurt. Really bad.

So sorry for the BFN Rella.

Rella and Waterlily..I'm so sorry for your BFNs... ((hugs)) to you all too. Thank you sweetsurrender. Today is going to be a difficult day. My husband was devestated. At least my DHs family has no idea about us trying IUI. We have to stay positive. That is true Waterlily. .we will have our time. We will all have to check in on the next cycle. You ladies have been wonderful support. Thank you.

Sorry about the BFN Waterlily...the exact thoughts went through my mind...perfect numbers...worrying about multiples...and nothing? I also have not told my family anything that we are going through....it's easier that way. Sorry ladies...hugs all around and we're definitely getting closer to our time!

Just curious if you rella and waterlily are going to go right into this next cycle or take a break? My doctor wants me to go in tomorrow for an ultrasound to see if I am all clear from the meds and don't have any cysts etc for this month.

Kristen...I was considering taking the month off...but honestly I don't want to! I feel like a month off is a wasted month.. AF came today...so I'll be calling my RE for an u/s this week...
Currently I set a goal to try my
hardest for a BFP before the end of summer (I'm a teacher and that would be ideal).
What's your point of the break? Just tired of the disappointment? or something else?

Hi Rella...so sorry for your BFN. After talking with my DH and family....they said the same thing time isn't on our side so to wait would be terrible. I was thinking of taking the month off because my grandma passed away last week and her funeral would be ironically on the weekend we would need to go in for the IUI. In talking with my mom she put my mind at ease telling me that my grandma would want more than anything for my DH and I to have a baby...so they understand me not being able to attend. It is back east..and I'm in California...so it isn't like we could have the procedure and go. I am feeling more positive today. Going in for my ultrasound this afternoon...and hoping to move forward.

I am sorry about your grandma Kristen but I'm happy your're feeling more positive today...I hope you can move right to the next cycle, that's what I'm hoping to do too, to just keep plugging even though I am still in shock for our BFN's. :-< Rella keep trying. So sorry about your Grandma Kristen but I totally agree with your mom! I have my cd3 appt tomorrow so I'm also hoping to get this cycle going! I love all the positive energy coming from us today! Maybe that's all we need!

Thank you Rella! That means a lot too! Just got back from my appointment....good news...we are a go everything looks good! We are going to be a bit more aggressive this cycle with clomid 50 mg, injectibles and IUI. Love all the positive energy! I think it is definitely what we need all around!

@KristenG2011‌ how are the injections? Go on Thursday for u/s and check follies...was spotting and cramping a little little bit today on day 4 of clomid? Ever experience that? Updates @Waterlily234‌ ?

Hi Rella! I haven't experienced spotting on clomid before. Maybe you could call your RE since your u/s appointment is a little ways away. Just for piece of mind for you.

I actually just got back from my u/s. I have 3 follies....one at 17 1/2 another at 10 1/2...and a sad little guy at 7. My RE is having me do more injections tonight and Wednesday. A higher dose tonight...in hopes that they will grow more. I honestly have had a hard time with the injections...I have a severe needle phobia. My poor DH. I actually IM'd @waterlily234...haven't heard. Hope she is okay.

You guys are so sweet to ask about me and message. I'm sorry I was MIA, really trying to keep my mind off TTC for the weekend. But it's Monday and a fresh cycle, and it always could be the one! I was really worried I would have one of these infamous cysts because I have been having very apparent twinges and needle like sensations in both ovaries. But I went to my CD3 appointment today and everything was fine, calm and clear and ready to go, so I just took my clomid tonight. I'm doing the same protocol, and back in for monitoring on Friday. Kristen those follies sound good, like you could have a beautiful winner with that 17 1/2. That was great growth for just a week, wow! Let's do this Rella! Hope that spotting and cramping stopped... :-?

@KristenG2011‌ my appointment was "okay" had one leading egg at 18mm then a couple others in the 14-15 range. I went on cd 11 as opposed to 12...so my dr wants me to trigger tomorrow instead of tonight. My numbers weren't as good as last month...but I know follicles can grow a lot in a few days so here's hoping! I can't figure out tho why my RE has me
trigger on Friday with BD before or after and then skip Saturday and BD Sunday-Tuesday? I hate skipping the day after trigger because I think I ovulate on that day and without MFI why would we do that!? GL tomorrow at your u/s! Let us know how it goes! Waterlily how's it going with you!?

Think positive!! Thank you! I actually tested this morning and got a positive OPK...so now we are going in this afternoon for my IUI. I triggered this morning. Last time they waited a day and it didn't work...so as a precaution..doing it today..better early rather than late. How are things going Waterlily?

We're back in the game, LADDIIIESSSS!!! (in Oprah voice...)

I'm about a week behind you guys....my appointment was pretty good in terms of numbers, I had 4 follicles in each ovary ranging from 6-9 mm...they're small, but it is only CD 7 today (day 4 of clomid) so I'm ok with that. Last time on CD 9 (day 5 of clomid) I had five total. Even still, I'm thinking it's quality not quantity. I think your big lead follies are the good ones, ladies, even if there is just one. I'm hoping we have some winners in this bunch!! How was the IUI this time Kristen? I totally agree early is better, this schedule will work for you! Rella I gotta say I would be nervous waiting till Sunday but sheesh I guess they know best?!

Sounds like your appointment went well. That is a good number of follies! Like you said it is early..so they will be growing. Positive thoughts!!

My IUI went well. I hadn't ovulated yet from what the ultrasound showed..so we were early...but last time we were late so this is better. The only unsettling thing was my 'RE was with another patient so the Nurse did the procedure. They had a little trouble at first but was able to get the catheter in. I had a few good follies...24, 16.5 and a 13. They told me anything over 14 there is a possibility of the egg being released and said since I hadn't ovulated there was a possibility for more growth. So we shall see in 2 weeks. They are putting me on progesterone starting Wed. since I was on injectibles. Gosh I've rambled...

How are you doing Rella? You both have to keep posted.

We didn't EXACTLY follow my RE's instructions...we bd'd Saturday night...BUT it was after 12 so technically that's Sunday right!?

The TWW is hell on earth. I wish you the best of luck ladies, round 2 could be IT!!! When are our betas? How are you feeling about this one Kristen? Rella, kudos to you for rockin the TI. I have all but given up on sex in general. Poor hubs! Lol. Eh whatever. I'm going in for u/s & b/w tomorrow...on Tues I had three folls on my right that were leading the charge at 15-16 +mm so I'm hoping they grew a lot so I can trigger tomorrow night for IUI Friday morning and Sat morning. I don't think my office is open on Sundays is my thought process. :-j

Those follies sound great Waterlily! I'm sure they've grown! Keep us posted on your u/s tomorrow! Your office might be open..ours is. I know if an IUI needs to be done they schedule it. So you should check. I was told to test next Sat. 6/7. I've been feeling a few symptoms...but not sure if it is all the meds I've been on. I've heard the progesterone can mimic symptoms. :-S Thinking positively though!!

Waterlily....I'm totally over the TI and when my window is done..so are we! it's totally draining and if this doesn't work we are iui next month...
Kristen what are your symptoms!? I too should get AF around next Saturday so were on the same day or close to..
I always get super negative at this point of the 2ww because it never works out and I feel like if I just stay negative I won't be overly disappointed when AF arrives...eek someone snap me out of it!

Think positive!! I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from though..you don't want to be overly excited to be let down. But we have to think positive!! I"m really not trying this time to focus on it and just think of all the positive things going on around me and how blessed I am in other ways in my life. My symptoms are...pulling twinges near belly button and ovaries..I have another one but I think it might be TMI for both you and Waterlily..but I didn't have it last time. Not sure if it just all the progesterone. Here is to hoping next weekend positive results and no AF!

Just took my trigger shot! IUI tomorrow AM and Sat AM. I had one at 21, one at 17, one at 13, and a handful of smaller ones. My E2 was under 500, so I was a little disappointed by that but am hoping the one big guy is putting out the most and there is at least one viable egg in there. I keep thinking its quality not quantity but I am nervous cuz I had more last time. But hey, it was a BFN so that means nothing. Come on egg! I'm torturing hubs about tomorrow.. I keep telling him make it count. Really go for it. Really pull out all the stops. He's like, ok. Be quiet now.
