LO has been a bit fussier than usual today. Didn't settle down for his mid-morning nap so I tried putting him in his bouncer/vibe chair next to the treadmill thinking the sound would lull him to sleep (I ran/jogged/walked throughout pregnancy so I'm sure he's used to the sound) but A) hi fussiness turned into flat out wails and even if he hadn't cried, there's no way I would have been able to stick with it. After one minute my boobs were killing me - flopping all over and felt like heavy sand bags. Ugh! So painful. I'm normally a B cup so I'm not used to the weight/bouncin and def not used to the pain. Needless to say, no run for me today. Instead I strapped on the Ergo and LO, the dog and I went for a 1.5 mile walk outside.
I haven't been "cleared", but wasn't told not to do anything. My problem is finding the time. Sure, I'm home all day with LO, bit DS1 is only 21 months. For the next several months I think I will try to be proud of myself when I get DS1 in the "backpack" and LO in the stroller and we go for a one and a half mile walk like we did the other day. I also hope to find time for sit ups and push ups during the day.
I am interested in doing T25 too. I am just not sure I want to buy the set until we get in a routine when I return to work. I'd like to get in some kind of shape over the summer with indoor workouts then start running in the fall when it's nicer and when I can put Jack in the bob.
I wish all of the informercials I watch in the middle of the might pumping session counted as a workout. T25- there's a 3rd p90x?, and some kind of 10 minute workout w/Tony Horton- I want to see what that one's all about. I love Tony Horton.
I also recommend Brazil Butt Lift and the Beach Body workouts. I like to run or high impact walk on a treadmill, but every now and then I do these and they are difficult and get results. I think BBL may be too intense for just giving birth, lol, but the other one is more relaxed but still effective.
My doc said if I feel good to go ahead. I have my six week on the 21. Two of my sisters are beach body coaches so one of them just gave me hip hop abs to try. I am already at my pre pregnancy weight and maybe only want to lose a couple more pounds. Really just need to tighten ip the stomach muscles and get back into fitness. I tried out the video today. Im fine with the workouts, its the food I dont want to change!
I haven't even scheduled my pp Dr visit yet, oops. I have a large gap in my ab muscles (more than 4 fingers width) so I'm doing exercises to bring those together and walking.
I have almost 30 lbs to get to pp weight but would like to lose 40. It's coming off slow though.
