I haven't cooked dinner once this whole week. Mon-Wed we put in a patio, and yesterday we had a water main break, so I wasn't cooking dinner without water. I picked up subway on the way home.
Here is our patio though. thank goodness its done. That was way too much work !!!
I don't know how you do it. That is not an easy feat, especially when you also have a child home with you. I am sorry he doesn't recognize this all the time.
It's not easy but DH is getting better. I am a Children's Ministry Director so I don't really have any deadlines/meetings except Sunday's. I love that i get to spend extra time with DS too.
My confession is that I'm terrible about getting out of bed in the morning. It's my biggest weakness, personally and professionally, especially since as a grad student I don't have set working hours. If I have a meeting, I'll usually sleep until the last possible minute and sometimes even skip showering so I can stay in bed longer.

Something tells me this may change in November...
The "skip showering" part will only get worse, LOL!

im so with you go this! no joke before we lived together (and after since he leaves so early in the morning) dh used to call me everyday and wake me up. this on top of my alarms. it's really bad. my dog broke me of this habit though, he starts whining and barking at 6 or 630 and i odnt need to be up until 730. the only reason i dont kill him some days is because i know this is practice for the baby and i clearly and desperately need it.

@brooklyngirl18 Ha! Maybe I need a dog. My cats actually support my oversleeping- they get super cuddly and cute as soon as DH gets up. It's like an evil plot to keep me in bed longer.
Yeah, I'm messy too. DH likes things really tidy, but doesn't like to do the cleaning up himself, to which I say FU MIL! We used to fight about it all the time. About 3-4 years ago, we hired a cleaning lady to come every two weeks. I still have to pick up before she comes, so she's not cleaning around piles of mail and dirty dishes, but I love not having to scrub the toilet or bathtub and not having to dust. DH cleans the floors on the weekend she doesn't come and tolerates the mess in between visits. It's actually one of the best things we've ever done for our marriage. I'll never give up my cleaning lady!
I think I might have to invest in a cleaning lady! That sounds great. I work out of my house and my office stuff tens to take over the dining room even though I have an office upstairs. So much easier to work downstairs...
A cleaning lady might help me keep all that junk where it belongs!
We just started having our cleaning lady come once a week. I can not handle messes at all and I am a horrid cleaner. On top of that my husband is a complete and utter slob (thanks MIL). So for the sake of our marriage and our children, we have a cleaning lady. Sometimes I feel guilty about the expense but then I remember the constant bickering and since we can afford it - so be it.
@lizgrace03 I'm the same way, but I was blessed with a baby who would be fine at night if I nursed and changed her and put her right back in her bassinet. And still she doesn't ever wake up before 7:15 and usually is closer to 8. I feel very lucky. You might be too
FTM and other pregnant ladies IRL scare the shit out of me. I guess its just the reality of what will be me shortly and how life changing having a child will be. I think its awesome but it freaks me out. There is another pregnant lady at work who is several mo ahead if me and she's really showing. I avoid her like the plague. I know I should find comfort in having another pregnant person to compare notes with IRL, but for now I'll stick to the bump and my mom and sisters.

Ha! So glad I'm not the only one. Pregnant people have always kind of freaked me out. So far being one of them hasn't changed my feelings.

I have company coming over Sunday and I totally should be cleaning right now but I am currently sitting on the couch watching shark tank I HATE cleaning!!
I just bought a house end of march, I have no desire to set it up or clean. Ugh! I want the end result I just dont feel like doing anything.
I also havent told the babys dad about him/her. Not sure what to do. I havent talked to him since he moved out about 3 weeks ago. I dont think he'll grow up and I dont feel like dealing with it again. im really not like this usually , i just know i deserve better. **Dont flame me that bad!!! Nervous ***
Since everyone seems to be talking about house work/ cleaning here's mine. I HATE MATCHING SOCKS!!!! I would love to just wear my socks and them toss them out and buy new ones.
@Kegcrc I'll be 13 weeks on monday. The only way he would find out is through fb. We're still 'friends' on there, no real mutual friends IRL thatd id see and theyd know. When he left i told him he left stuff here and to text me when he wanted to pick it up.

Don't be nervous, I don't think anyone's going to really flame you, I'm not anyway! We don't know him or you or your life so if you don't want to tell him yet then don't. I mean, if you post on here after the baby is born and you haven't told him, THEN you'd get flamed.
I kind of can't stand when parents tell me how old their kid is in months. I like round numbers or even someone saying "amlost" or "just turned". BTW everyone I am 351 months old!
Thank you! So true! Ugh that's like one of my biggest pet peeves. After one or two just stop with the months... You are in denial haha.
My husband and I haven't had sex in two months. He thinks it's because pregnancy killed my sex drive but that's only half true. It's only killed my desire to have sex with someone else.... DIY has been a frequent thing for weeks now and he doesn't know.
Same here!
OMG me too and it's killing me. I'm sure it's hormones but it's depressing the shit out of me.
