I wasn't the most avid poster, but I lurked a lot and have enjoyed many conversations in this group. Right now I really just need support from somewhere.
We had our first ultrasound today, and there was no heartbeat. We also found out it was twins. According to my doctor, it was "monochorionic twins".. identical twins who shared one placenta.
I'm so devastated, and don't know how DH and I will recover from this.
I wish each and every one of you a healthy and non-eventful pregnancy. Thanks again for all the laughs and support.

I'm so terribly sorry!! That is so incredibly hard. I lost a baby earlier this year but couldn't imagine two at once. Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family. May you find peace during such a sad time.
When I lost my baby, my doctor told me that it just wasn't the baby God intended for us to raise. Some babies make better angels than they would walking around on this earth. Hugs to you.
