I'm just sad to see Jayden still in the top 10. Didn't realize it had been there since 2008 (#11 is close enough).
DD1's names fell, and I'm cool with that. And so did our FN choice for DD2. Our middle name choices both rose. Option 1 broke top 20 , so we might have to pick option 2 (which rose, but is still just inside the top 500)
Lincoln's still on the rise - #95, first time in the top 100, up from 177 the year DS was born. I find the state stats on his name really interesting, so I'm looking forward to those.
declan is up from 348 the year we picked it to 121. meh.
finnleigh still does not appear on the list thanks to our choosing an incredibly difficult spelling. though, the traditional finley is up from 408 to 290.
eavan does not appear to be popular in the us. yet. hahaha.

If you look on the long list (Beyond the Top 1,000), Eavan is way down at the bottom (6 babies in 2013).
I knew Noah would stay high. I love my son's name and couldn't even imagine him with our other top contender names that were less popular, but damn I'm pissed it's #1.
It might not be for your state though! They don't have that data out yet.

Wow that jump surprises me! Great name btw!
I called it!
Good job! I didn't see your prediction but you were right. And thank you @Irishcurls!
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015
So I've done a little math...the combined spellings of Jackson and Jaxon give you 19 967 babies, enough to move it ahead of Noah to first place. I didn't have the energy to look up Jaxson/Jaxen/Jaxyn/Jaxxx'n or however else people are spelling it these days but it looks like Jackson and alternate spellings might be the top name with combined spellings.

It was #3 in my state last year, yet I have only run into 1 other Noah and it was a cashier at a grocery store. So maybe it has gone down
Isla climbed high to #167, but I'm not surprised. I warned DH about the trendy factor, but he didn't care. He would have gone with Abigail if he had a say. I'm actually more thankful for the climb because I'm always getting pms on facebook asking how it's pronounced and DH is having name regret.
I think when the state rankings come out it will probably explain why I keep getting those pms.
I'm a little surprised Noah made it all the way to the #1 spot. I'm sure my BFF is disappointed; it was waaay farther down the list when she named her oldest son!
My boys' names are both still in the top 10. Yay.
DH's top choice for another boy has really climbed and is now #11 (Elijah). Oliver, one of my faves, was 200-something when I was naming our twins and is now 52! Isaac, another of my faves, is up to #29 and my beloved Leo (which DH would probably never agree to anyway) is #112, which I could totally live with.
For our favorite girls' names, it seems like Julia (our off-and-on favorite since my first pregnancy) has stayed fairly steady in the 70s. I can definitely live with that, too.
I'm so behind on this thread. I'm bummed, but not surprised Eleanor has jumped from the 130s to 106. But I guess I would rather see a rise in good, real names than the opposite... Walter is still in the 300s, which makes me happy.
Now to figure out what the hell I'm going to name this baby...

Both my kids names were not in the top 1000 for the year they were born. Ds's name rose every year after to the 700s. Now it's dropped 6 spots for the first time since he was born.
As I predicted, dd's name broke the top 1000 this year as well.
The top 10 girls name list is so super boring. Why do people continue to use those names?
I am super sad about Violet becoming so popular. When I was pregnant with Silas I neverrrr heard it. It's a total turn off.I am also kind of surprised at how much Penelope jumped. I knew it would rise but didn't think it would that much.
I figured DS 1's name would rise. I'm okay with that. DS 2's name disappeared (well our spelling did). It was low on the totem poll last year so again I'm not surprised. I noticed that many of the names that we had on our list for DS 2 rose this year. I guess we just have good taste. :P
Theodore rose from #301 the year DS1 was born to #170. That's 131 spots in 6 yrs! And Theo on it's own went from not ranked to #666.
Francis went from #670 the year DS2 was born to #506. That's a 164 spot jump in only 3 yrs! For freakin' Francis!! Holy hell! I never in a million years would have seen that coming! Even with the election of Pope Francis, that was an 86 spot jump in just one year. And yet George, which would have been DD's name, only rose 9 spots, even with the naming of the royal baby. Very curious.
Magdalena is still beyond the top 1000, as are most of my girl favorites like Bernadette, Agnes, Georgiana, and Joan. Teresa is still ranked, but fell 44 places as did its NN Tessa. DH's favorite Lucy stayed constant at #66.
And Henry continues to rise. I'll be curious to see the state results on Henry when they come out. It was ranked #5 in OR last year. Could it be our new #1?

283 poor little girls were named Jurnee last year. Sigh.

I totally though Charlotte would make the top 10. 11 wasn't too far off though.
I'm glad Noah got nixed from our list a while ago. DH and I had Noah Levi for a long time while we were dating.
