What is baby's weight for you and at what week? 32weeks and baby is 4lb 5oz. Doc said totally normal but friends are telling me that that is BIG! Help!
I'm 31 weeks and during the ultra sound this week they said he is 4.1 in the 74th percentile. The doctor was so happy because he was afraid the baby was too small because I have only gained 6 pounds.
I think we are fine, it is only an estimate and babies grow at different rates.
At 30 weeks my baby was only 2.3lb and in the 15th percentile. Tiny but not scary small. I am now getting BPPs weekly to monitor his growth even though the OB said there is nothing to worry about since my DS measured small as well.
Haven't had my 32 wk ultrasound this pregnancy but with DS at 32 weeks he measured 4lb 12oz and was born at 36 weeks weighing 7lb 2oz. Doc says he would've been 9lbs ish if he were full term.
At 30w 5d the ultrasound tech said our little girl was measuring 3lbs 11oz. I told them I felt like that is really big for this time but I guess we shall see.
Yesterday, at 28 weeks 6 days little boy measured 3 lbs 14 oz, which puts him in the 90 something percentile. Apparently that's huge, but he's proportionate. The tech's words were "he's not a little buddha baby, with a big ol belt and scrawny legs and arms."
So we get to go back at 32 weeks for a growth scan.

At 30 weeks, I was told baby was 3 lbs 10 ozs. I don't expect another u/s, so we won't have any other guesses. You can take it or leave it as far as I'm concerned. SIL was measuring big (both baby and fluids). They were expecting over an 8 lb baby. She was 7 lbs 10 oz.
My MW doesn't do guesses or estimates because they are typically pretty inaccurate. I would not let this information bug me OP, it could be totally wrong.
At my last U/S I was 28 weeks 3 days. Baby A was measuring 2 lbs 9 oz and Baby B was 2 lbs 2.6 oz. I have no idea what percentile that was. I just saw that baby center said that at 28 weeks, babies should be 2.25 lbs and figured we were good.
My last US was at 20 weeks, I would love to have another. I have my 29 week appointment on Wednesday, I will ask then what the protocol is but is it typical to have a 3rd tri US?
At 30 weeks, we were at 2 pounds +/- which puts us in the 12th percentile. We scan again at 33 weeks to monitor (we were 20th percentile at 20 weeks). Starting NSTs today to check on the kid and am supposed to be eating high fat (low carb, low sugar) foods to gain some weight. Now, if only someone would tell that to my scale. Eating tons of fat, but down 2+ pounds since my last ob appt.
I get regular growth scans due to high blood pressure and at my last one, around 28 weeks 5days he was measuring 3lbs 15oz. That puts him up there in the 90th percentile and the nurse made a comment like if he keeps growing this way they'll probably induce you. I however do not want to be induced because of his size since it is possible for them to be so inaccurate.
At my 26 week u/s Baby A was 2.8 and Baby B was 2.6. They didn't tell me percentiles, but did say they are measuring like singletons. DD was 5 lbs at 33 weeks (apparently), but was born at 39 weeks weighing only 6.2, so try not to worry too much.

I don't think it's very common to have a 3rd tri u/s if you are low risk. I only had one with DD b/c my fundal height measurement was quite off so my OB was concerned (plus I had a previous loss). And this time I'm having twins so I have regular u/s's every 4 weeks.
I am 30 weeks today and had my ultrasound this morning. They said she is almost 4lbs. and in the 73rd percentile. My doc wasn't concerned about her being so big since I was over 9lbs. when I was born. Due to BP and blood thinners I'll probably be induced a little early so I am glad that she is a little on the chunky side. The tech kept saying how she hadn't seen chubby cheeks like hers before. I think she took 100 pics of her cheeks. We tried to get 3D pics today, but she kept her hand in front of her face and her cord is all bunched up there too.
At my 29 week appointment 3 weeks ago, DD was 2 lbs and a few ounces. She was in the 54%ile, mainly due to her legs being in the 60%ile while her head and abdomen were in the low 20 percentile.
At 28 weeks baby was 3.5 pounds, 80-something percentile Tech said there is a 15% margin for error, though, and that the weight is really just a close guess. I'm just glad that he appears to be on the big side since he'll be delivered early. Hoping to be like @chelsey33 and have a 7 pounder at 36 weeks

at 32 weeks our peanut weighed in small at 3.5 lbs and my doctors are sending me to get specialized ultrasound and a consultation next week ... plus i have been being monitored already weekly with high BP with in office visit and then NST's ...hopefully all is ok anyone else experience this?
I had no idea they did percentiles for this. I had one at 30w3d and it was 3lbs, 6oz and I was told that it was spot on for 30w6d. I wonder if spot on means 50th percentile?
I am having more ultrasounds because I'm having some blood pressure problems. I don't think if I was fully healthy I was scheduled for any more ultrasounds.
At 28 weeks baby weighed 3.5 pounds. They said this was large but bc of possible margin of error they aren't concerned at this point. I don't think having several ultrasounds is typical. I get them every two weeks now bc I am a high risk pregnancy due to PCOS and past fertility issues/diminished ovarian reserve.
I am pretty sure they estimated my LO was 4 lbs 2 ozs when I was about 29.5 weeks... Nobody seemed concerned, but after this thread I am pretty sure that means I'm going to be giving birth to a giraffe, right?! Yikes!

I'm with you @1982Babies ... How are you all getting these scans so often? I'm jealous.
I do not think I'll get another scan until they want to see his position to make sure he is not breech a few weeks before my due date.
