SOrry if this is old news buy just made my Friday!

And BOOO Luke rose again (albeit just a few rankings. I wish the state rankings were out too.

I knew Noah would stay high. I love my son's name and couldn't even imagine him with our other top contender names that were less popular, but damn I'm pissed it's #1.
I don't see DS's first name or DD's future name anywhere on the list. DS's middle name is Mason & just after we named him in 2011 we began seeing Mason everywhere. I know 4 born in 2013/2014.
I love stats, here's one for the board. Within the top 100 names, these are the ten names that had the most growth in usage (not ranking) and so some may say are the "trendiest" according to the numbers
Olivia Mia Charlotte Sofia Harper Aria Scarlett Sadie Penelope Mila
Lincoln's still on the rise - #95, first time in the top 100, up from 177 the year DS was born. I find the state stats on his name really interesting, so I'm looking forward to those.
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015

@naflmj - I was thinking about you this morning (In a non creepy way- promise) and I was wondering if you have considered Bram/ Braham. Not sure if it's exacly your style, but it popped into my head after the Brett/ Bryce debacle.

I'm kind of surprised at the boy's top ten. I feel like number 1 has ALWAYS been an uber-classic name. Noah and Liam are a trendier #1 and #2 than there's ever been.
DS's name rose a lot! I'm glad, I love it and I hope it becomes more familiar so I don't have to explain it so much to people! ("no there's a silent H. R-H-E-T-T. It's a charecter in GWTW!").
ETA: ALso...the two names that rose the most in popularity? Jayceon and Deleyza? What. the. fuck.
I am totally suprised by the boy's top ten! And I am completely bored by the girls top ten. Again.

Glad Zoey/Zoe didn't rise. Even dropped a few spots. I have a Zoe, and in my area, it doesn't seem as popular as I feared. Only met one other baby Zoe so far. I like that it's holding steady.
Overwhelmingly positive. We do live in a neighborhood that is heavily Italian/Portuguese/Brazilian, though, so it is not an unfamiliar name here. We have gotten a few "that's so ethnic!" comments from people elsewhere, but I just roll my eyes at that. She also goes by Molly, which seems to be a great comfort to DH's family.
Joseph and Mary Jane are our current top names and I'm not concerned with those at all. I was hoping Lydia would make a little bigger jump but its getting there. It's one of my favorite names, but H thinks it sounds "too old lady". I'm hoping with increasing popularity of the name he'd hear of it on a little girl and change his perception of the name a bit.
Mary Jane is my oldest daughter's name (3.5 years old)... glad to hear another family considering it! We have received great feedback... but then again it would be weird if someone told us they hated it!
Best friends and sisters... 24 months and 16 months
Dammit! Just got both boys napping at the same time and was about to lie down myself, until I saw the list was out! Off to hunt down the beyond the top 1000 list and see how my boys' names fared.

That's exactly what we are considering- Amalia/Molly. That or Matilda/Tilly. Amalia is so beautiful all on its own.
I'm actually surprised neither of mine are in the top 1,000. DD's name seems to come up so frequently here. I know that's not reflective of the whole US though.
I think the most popular name on our list is Ayla.

My name dropped another 100 slots. It'll be out of the top 1000 before I know it. Kinda makes me sad.
Phantom girl name still out of the top 1000! yay!

I CAN'T believe that Madison is still in the top 10.
Also-- DD's name stayed exactly the same as it was last year --160. Whew!

So glad Timothy fell again... It's the only boy name I really like! If it got popular I'd be so conflicted.
