I am not really part of this check-in, but saw your screen name and wanted to say hey girl! Hope you are doing ok! How did things turn out with your hubby and accepting the new haircut?
Aw thanks @BoothBaby He apologized and things are good now. It was a bad day for him. He still doesn't like it, but he has gotten used to it and still calls me beautiful
I'm OK. Really been dragging energy wise for months now. Being a working mom really gets to me sometimes and I get upset that I can't be with my baby and family more. But overall I'm OK. Had a psych checkup recently and things are good there, stable on my meds.
Hi @sventurarn ! I'm so glad it's going well with your meds and your DH. It's not easy being a working mom. Yes, you miss out in family time but maybe making the most of the time you do spend together will help!
@Heaven802002 I'm glad your meds are working out! I really hope things keep improving for you!
I've been doing better lately. We have a more structured schedule now and I make an effort to get out of the house with LO at least every other day. I've stopped being mad at my dad and have started talking to him again. That made a huge difference! I've also started baking.
@Heaven802002 Glad you are not still dealing with those side effects! I was wondering about that. You will know what "normal" is when you feel it. Its the most amazing feeling after being not normal for so long. Its like you are free to be yourself again! Hope it comes soon for you.
@AlexJohnson840 glad your depression is a little better. Antidepressants will not help with energy but they will make you feel like things are worth doing even if you have no energy to do them. Sorry you are tired. I am also struggling with fatigue. I am not sure if it is my chronic fatigue syndrome or being a new mom or breastfeeding or what but I am beat! I have been taking daily supplements and vitamins that help but its not enough. I am thinking of revamping my diet which is tough because that requires energy in the first place. You are welcome to pm me about fatigue if you want.
@riv06marce glad things are looking up! It is difficult and selfless to forgive someone who has hurt you. I'm glad things are better with your dad. Baking, mmmm! Where are the food porn pictures?? Lol
@sventurarn I'm glad your able to fully enjoy your new hair now.
This week was pretty crappy. A few things going on are making me feel really frustrated with life. LO waking up every 2-3 hours at night isn't helping things. SIL is supposed to watch Easton tonight so DH and I can have date night, but I honestly don't even want to do that.
