Hi all, I am a breastfeeding mom from NL Canada. I need some info about the rights of breastfeeding mothers in Florida. The reason I ask is that I am considering planning another trip to Orlando in the fall. This will be my first time traveling with my son, who will be about 9-10 months old when we travel. I want to go back and stay on the resorts on Disney. I know from past trips that there are child care stations in all the parks so I am assuming that there is a nursing spot in there, but at home we are protected under the humans rights act and I can breastfeed anywhere we are legally allowed to be. So my question is basically if I do book a trip can I breastfeed where ever I want and is there a law or act that protects my right to do so? Thanks for any replys.
Re: Question about rights to breastfeed in public in Florida
I also work at the largest outlet mall in Orlando and have seen countless number of women walking around breastfeeding with no cover up. So you shouldn't have a problem and just know here in Florida you are protected as well
Thank you casey78 and jill0986 for the replies.
