Full name. It's impossible to shorten Autumn. Although I often get called Amber and Amanda, and even Adam by people who forget/don't listen/or don't understand me and that's annoying. Especially the Adam- when have you EVER heard of a girl named Adam????
No one evers hears my name correctly. Ive gotten Ashley (more times than I can count) but my name is Ashlyn so its close. But ive also gotten Amber, Alyssa, Allison, Alicia, and Sasha and Jocelyn. Wtf. Hahaha Im sure theres more but I cant remember. I usually just go with it.

No short version of my form of staci either. So yeah.
As a mother to an Elizabeth, can our Elizabeth's here tell me if they decided their nickname or if it's what their parents called you? My Elizabeth goes by either full name or Eliza. I don't care for the other nicknames (except Betty. Love Betty but it didn't fit her.) So I'm hoping she doesn't change it later but it's her name so it's her choice. Just curious about you ladies.
At first my mom called me Eliz. Then they called me Lizzie and I liked that (when I was four or five I think).
E.t.a.: I almost/knew I could've changed my name officially to Lizzie when I changed my last name after I got married, but didn't because I knew it would've upset my fam' if they found out (I was also named after my aunt as part of a tradition) and because I like that I can use Elizabeth professionally.
My full name is Amanda but nobody ever calls me that. I've been Mandie since the second grade.
@MRads - I don't think that I knew this. We're name twins. Except the only shortened version I use is dropping the first A, like @thegoodpotato - and that's more just my family saying it faster.

@Meimsx, yep my parents chose my nickname, Liz--my dad called me his "little Liz"
