    I'm so late this week! @meladoriestar I'm so sorry for your rough day yesterday and literally getting punched in the face! I hope today is better for you.

    No real updates from me this week. I'm on CD27 and pretty sure I still haven't O'd. My temps are still pretty up and down. This is my first cycle post mc so I haven't been expecting things to be normal. Unrelated note- it's actually warm in Chicago today! Like, I didn't even need a jacket or anything this morning so that is definitely helping my mood today. 

    Hope you ladies are having a good week. And hugs for anyone that needs them today!!

    Don't have much for a check-in, {2WW} So...

    QOTW: I remember when I was about 4, whenever I went to stay with my grandparents, they sent me to an awful daycare while they were at work. I wasn't allowed to take a nap til I ate snack and I sure got in trouble a lot!

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    I'm back to TTC after thinking this time was finally going to be it...SWEARING A LOT RIGHT NOW!! Trying to stay positive as this was just crappy luck (I intro'd my story). Positives: DH took today and tomorrow off with me, I am watching the original theatrical releases of Star Wars 4, 5, and 6 this afternoon because, dang it, today sucks. Tomorrow, we are going to get back to the remodel of our bathrooms! I'm EXCITED about getting my laundry up from my basement to the 1st floor.

    Dx: Unexplained Infertility / AMA

    BFP after 4th IUI cycle with Gonal F + Ovidrel on March 2014 | EDD 12/7/14 | MMC on 4/14/14 

    IUI#5 with Gonal F and Ovidrel trigger on 6/6 - BFN

    On to IVF #1 with a new RE. Started Gonal F and Menopur on 8/15.  Added Ganirelix on 8/24. Trigger on 8/26 for ER on 8/28. 8R 7M 3F.  Transferred all 3 on 8/31. BFP on 9/11 | EDD 5/20/15 - Beta #1: 56.7. Beta #2: 97. Beta #3: 1148. Beta #4: 3559. Beta #4: 7678. MMC confirmed on 10/13. D&C on 10/14 at 9w. Confirmed male with Trisomy 14.

    On to IVF #2 in March. CCS Testing on 2 embies. No go. Waiting to start IVF #3 in July. Surprise BFP on 6/14! EDD - 2/20/16 - Beta #1: 121.4. Beta #2: 236.4. Beta #3: 2014.

    OMG girls, i'm so far behind.  one of these days i'll get back to checking in on time.  :(  @meladoriestar - thanks so much for doing this every week!  i can barely manage to check in, so props for managing to run it!

    my update: i'm 10dpo and my thermometer broke last night (it's glass).  i managed to patch it with duct tape this morning (after my digital backup decided not to work this morning, even though it worked last night) to get me through the rest of this cycle, since it'll be till a week from monday till i get my replacement.  otherwise, mostly i'm just playing catchup around the house from being sick so long, plus being caught up in a yard project that took several days and made stuff fall by the wayside even more.  i'm really a terrible housekeeper for someone who stays at home.  i'm seeing a few vacations happening...so jealous!  i could use a weekend away!  i promise i'll be more present next week.  promise!

    This week I'm starting to feel closer to 'normal'.  I'm about 11 days after natural m/c and think I've officially stopped bleeding/spotting.  I've heard mixed reviews on when we should start 'trying' again and by trying I mean DTD.  My dr didn't advise against it, but I read somewhere that you shouldn't put anything in there within 2 weeks.  Thoughts?

    As for QOTD: I've looked through photo albums so much that I'm not sure what is a true memory and what has been fabricated by pictures.  I remember a few things from kindergarten but I don't think I remember anything before then.  And it wasn't anything exciting, just working with the Gifted Ed teacher to develop a program for someone my age.  (Definitely not trying to AW there, it's just my first memory).
    Definitely nothing in the vagina for two weeks after the loss. You also shouldn't be taking baths. Do you have a follow up appointment? Many times they do a check 2 days after the loss to make sure things are healing well and that's when you get the ok to have sex (though not necessarily to try again- that might be on a different timeline).
    @meladoriestar - Thank you for the response! I didn't realize that you responded to every single post! You are crazy busy!

    Soo...we may have broken the 2 week rule...DH was awfully fiesty after two months off (I didn't want to DTD after I learned I was pregnant, until I saw baby and knew everything was ok...but when that happened, our loss happened shortly after so he's been waiting).  I felt up to it and it happened, but we used a condom.  Everything seemed fine. FX.

    I had an appointment about 4 days post m/c which is when my dr said 'I suggest you wait for one cycle but I hope to see you back sooner rather than later' but never mentioned the 2 weeks.  We're just going to go the NTNP route this month and then take it from there.  We'll see how it goes. :)

    Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.

    PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
    Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
    3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
    D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix

    I'd like to add that waiting 2 weeks is not just from a TTA perspective but it's very important from an infection standpoint.
