Just curious how long have you been with your DH/SO? Dating/married.

DH and I have been together 16 years in June and married 7 years last October.

My DH and I have been together since high school (prom was our first date just as friends...been together ever since). 12 years on May 6 and married for 9 years this summer.

We've been together for 11 years as of January and will be married 8 years on June 10. We waited until we were absolutely ready to have kids before getting pregnant. I feel like I got side eyed a lot for that because it doesn't seem to be the norm where I live. If you don't have at least 2.5 kids by the time your 30 something is wrong. My 30th birthday is when we announced that we were pregnant.

We had to choose a wedding or IVF. I'm pretty sure we made the right choice.

Eta: We chose IVF and a courthouse wedding instead of a big beach wedding.

We have been together for 7 years and married for 3 1/2.

We are *older* (DH 39 and me 42) and it took us a long time to find each other! Neither thought we would ever find someone we wanted to marry. Since 2010 we have moved to a different state, got married, bought a house and had two kids. I'm exhausted, but wouldn't change my choices. Except for leaving CA for NM. This place sorta sucks.

DH and I only dated for 7 months before we got married. This August will be 7 years of marriage.

ETA: We met October '06 started dating Jan. '07 engaged May and married Aug. of 2007! I'm 29, he's 31. When you know, you know!

I was married for 11 years, and it was like having my best friend as a roommate, besides my 3 beautiful babies I got nothing out of it. I'm OK with the way things are.

DH and I moved fast. Met in July of 2011, engaged in Oct of 2011 and married in November of 2011. We have been married for 2.5 years. Marrying him was the best decision I've ever made. My DH is in the military and was being sent to Korea. If we didn't get married when we did we probably wouldn't be together today and I just couldn't risk that so we got married quick.
