Is this normal - pump output declining?

Hi all,
Just a quick question about pumping and supply.
DD is 11 months and I've pumped every morning for the last 5-6 months yielding 6 ounces.  Now I am down to an ounce (output has been on a decline for 2-3 months).  I usually nurse her 1.5 hours after I pump and I know they are much more efficient than a pump.  But why a decrease in pumping output if nothing has changed - I pump same time every morning, eat well, drink water, average sleep....is this normal?

ETA: I also never feel engorged in the morning and all parts of pump are in good shape!

TIA!!!!!
Have a good day!

  • This happened to me as well. I was doing everything the same and even started eating oatmeal, drinking even more water, etc. and it didn't seem to stop it from declining around the 10-12 month mark. I don't know if it's normal but I wanted to say I had the same issue.

    thanks @frank3jr for the response!
guess I'll be freeing myself from the pump....I'll miss the extra ounces!
  • Could be normal - I am going through the same but if nothing else changed maybe consider a new pump/parts?
