For surrious though, I kind of figure that if people have left for one reason or another it's because they wanted to. Either they're really busy, they hate us, they hate GIFs, they hate velociraptors, whatever.

I personally don't care to go tracking down people who don't realize how awesome we are.

After having so many losses, preemies, and L&D runs by June moms I tend to worry a little if a regular is suddenly gone that one of these things may have happened :-S but yeah, if they're leaving because they hate it here, that's totally their thing.

Well, I completely agree on not trying to track someone down to convince them they should still be around or of our worth. But, she was sane AND kind so I actually cared. I recalled her saying something about a physical ailment so perhaps if that is the case she will return when she is well. To clarify: I'm not trying to crawl up anyone's butt in the name of internet friend numbers. I noticed a few other people were wondering about the whereabouts of some others so I figured I'd put it out there. Thus the "or not, LOL" in my OP.

As for WTFISUP, I am not even going to touch the subject of "her" with a ten foot pole. I was (mildly) chapped over the past couple of weeks over what I viewed as some hypocrisy on this here board. But, this ain't my first rodeo on TB and it IS the internet so I quickly resumed not giving a flying cahoot.

Mennonite cat lady, if you're out there, I thought you were nice.

@merie412 @brighteyes112 I don't mean this to seem like the cop-out it will likely come across as, but....I didn't elaborate in my post because I didn't think it was necessary. Same reason I didn't say anything over the past two weeks or so. 1. It's the internet so it doesn't even really matter and 2. opinions are like @$$holes, we all have them, doesn't make them right. I am not deluded into thinking my opinion is an actual fact, etc.

I am pretty staunchly opposed to public call-outs so I just said nothing rather than something that could hurt someone, make them mad, or get lost in translation. Since it was just my perspective, I figured I'd lay low (well, at least lower than usual) and then there was the whole WTFISUP thread (not tagging her because I don't care enough about her to, not because of any desire to honor the ridiculousness of her request.) I clearly exercised poor judgement in mentioning what *I* perceived as hypocrisy but it just sorta came out when people started mentioning WTFISUP. I should've not even addressed that part of it but being the OP I just ran with where the topic had turned to.

This long tangent didn't seem as long in my head.

I'm taking a guess at the hypocrisy to mean how the board will GIF the shit out of newbs with silly questions but not regulars with silly questions. I think I've seen this brought up before in a FFFC or UO or something. That or board organization :P

I don't mean to speak on behalf of MrsCase, I'm just taking a stab in the dark.

I've only posted two GIFs maybe ever (today being one of them, LOL) and I support the GIFing of ridiculousness and newbs.

Plus, this sounds cheesy but I don't think any questions are really silly, per se, because we have no way of really telling someone's experience, mental capacity, etc. so maybe for them the questions is legit, if not redundant, ha!

As for board organization, that dead horse has been beat into jerky at this point, yeah?
