It's comforting to hear you ladies describing exactly the same concerns that I've been whining about to DH for the past few months
I'm chiming in to say that I'm another one who misses having energy; to stay motivated at work past 3:30pm, to stay awake past 8:30pm, to push myself when I'm out running. Now when I go for a run, between the low energy and the blobby belly and the over-sized boobs, I feel like a hippo lumbering down the trail. Actually, hippos are supposed to be fast - maybe a manatee? slow swimmers?
I also miss having a normal appetite. Between the nausea (which I had so sincerely hoped would be over by now) and the new aversions to foods that I used to love (avocado! Shudder!) I am a long way from normal in my eating habits. Maybe next trimester....
"I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it."
I miss running. I hadn't been keeping up with it in the months leading up to my BFP then was so sick for 3 months with m/s there is no way my body is able to run. Can't wait to pop baby out, get the docs ok and run again! Also I miss cold lunch meat sandwiches. I also miss the lack of ginormous love handles.
I miss being able to leave the house for an activity without worrying about if I have enough water and snacks so I don't feel dizzy or icky from low blood sugar.
I also have really been missing lunchmeat lately. That was my go-to summer lunch so now I'm having to find alternatives. I may just end up eating it in moderation later this summer though.
I also miss my waist, moscato after a long day at work, taking a walk with my dog and not getting winded. Sleeping through the entire night, say goodbye to that for quite a while! Also everyone treats me like I'm going to break. I don't know if I like it or HATE it
Beer, breathing easily, pushing myself during workouts, that caffeine high you get, being able to think clearly (this pregnancy is the worse...I cannot concentrate!).
I miss not having to wake up to pee at least once a night. I also miss Zumba. I had to stop during first tri, and I'm afraid to restart after 3 months off.
Oh, and Ibuprofen for my headaches. Tylenol sucks.
Sashimi, sushi, lots of coffee, sleep without getting up to pee. Or just not going pee every hour anyway. Also when I'm pregnant I get colds all the time that take 2-3 weeks to get over. I just landed my 3rd cold for this pregnancy yesterday
I miss...in no particular order...sleeping through the night...my clothes....Titos vodka with my pomegranate juice...sushi....eating large portions....staying up late....when people didn't ask me daily how I am feeling!
Beer beer and more beer! Jimmy johns sandwiches and raw salmon! I just want a slice of raw salmon! Maybe even a glass of red wine. Oh and my boobs (they are now HUGE and my nipples are the size of serving plates).
@mercedezshutt - i haven't had raw-raw salmon but have had smoked salmon which is uncooked a few times... it that on the no no list? whoops!
oh yeah, i miss sneezing w/o peeing a little. i sometimes cross my legs and clench but that's not going to fly in public and doesn't always work. my DH laughs at me.
I miss sushi, wine, my nice figure, strawberryritas, and the thought of going the whole summer without sangria makes me want to hurt someone! I also miss my energy! X(
All of this. But I do eat sushi....
I just had sushi last night! Nom nom

Sushi, sub sandwiches, and WHISKEY. I have friends and family tell me, "You know you can have a little bit of wine still." FUCK THAT SHIT! Wine doesn't do it for me. I miss you, Whiskey dear.
All the boooooze. I made a pitcher of beergaritas for my mom and DH this weekend and watched them finish it. My in-laws are coming at the end of June to do brewery tours. It's patio drinking season. WAH. Also, ahi tuna & days without headaches.
I miss sleeping through the night, my regular jeans, and having beer or wine on the patio after work with my husband (we still hang out on the patio but its just not the same.
Eggs Benedict! I've been craving it ever since we found out:( stomach sleeping, and looking normal in clothes.
