Hike It Baby

LO and I just got back from our first hike with Hike It Baby, it was so much fun! It has been beautiful here and I really wanted to get outside but I do not have a lot (any) mom friends so I joined the Hike It Baby group (free moms group in Portland OR) I highly recommend it. They have hike for all level of experience and every age baby. Today the hike leader taught me how to nurse while walking on the trail, so cool! Lo absolutely loved it and it was great getting out with other mams and LO! 

(This is not a plug or anything, I am in no way affiliated with them. I just wanted to share the fun we had!)

    That sounds like a lot of fun! I've taken DS for some hikes too. Both he and my DD really seem to enjoy being outdoors in their carriers.

    I use a boba carrier and it works wonderfully. I really like that my 17 1/2 pound (beast of a almost 4 month old) baby's weight sits mostly on my hips. Its so much nicer that other carriers I have used in the past. I have very sensitive shoulders and even the smallest amount of weight on them can give me a bad headache. We had a mobby but at his weight it was no longer a nice fit for the outside world. I do still use it around the house if he is in a needy mood and I need to get something done.  

    @bookshelves you should check out the website HERE. I know Shanti is trying to expand the idea to other areas! I think she said today that they will soon have a group in Idaho and Colorado or something like that!

    I am so jealous, sounds like a lot of fun. My friend hikes a ton and lives near Portland. she is due with her first in June. I just texted her about this group. Thank you!
